In a panic, I found this salon and booked an appointment online. (I live 1hr 45 minutes away from Harrisburg and had another salon cancel my appt last minute.) Aynie replied speedily and with so much welcome. Once I arrived, I was so glad to have found Salon 160. It’s warm and inviting, but also stylish and classy. Everyone was friendly. I got my first silk press! They made sure to inform me of every product they were using and how it pertained to continuing ther health of my hair. My hair looks beautiful and feels so soft! Aynie even helped me take better pictures than just a selfie lol The price was right. Needless to say, I will be back and telling others.

Went to get highlights and a cut today. Miss. Nikki did a good job lightening my hair and she is definitely good at multitasking in the shop. Ms. Sam did a wonderful job on cutting my curls in to the style I wanted. Its very hard to find a good salon that listens to you and knows what they are doing with your hair type. The prices are very fair as well and the shop commentary is lively and nice. Definitely will be going back here.

I really wanted to like this salon! From the time I arrived to when I left everything was rushed. My hair still had previous buildup (gel) in it after it was washed, my hair wasn’t completely dry when the flat ironing started. And after I had paid, tipped and left I realized my roots were still puffy, aka not straightened to my roots which should be after a silk press on relaxed hair. Maybe it was an off day.. but I was less than happy. Hopefully your experience is better than mine!

Nikki’s energy is amazing. She asked if my daughter had any allergies/sensitivity to products.!! Which I thought was amazing! being as though my daughter had a severe reaction to sulfur ..she even took time to compliment other stylists customers that left the salon/barbershop

Friendly, knowledgeable staff! I have had everything from a cut and color on natural hair to a highlights and asymmetrical cut on relaxed hair. They move fast and the prices are definitely reasonable for what you get. I haven’t purchased any cosmetic treatments but everyone looks happy (and GOOD) when they’re done.
