HIlary Key is a hair goddess sent from heaven. I first found Salon 131 after moving to Matthews, because they were the ONLY salon in the area willing to let me get in last minute (I was literally flying out of the country the next day). In this glorious opportunity is where God placed Hilary Key as my hair stylist. She did a cut (trim) and color on my hair which I LOVED. Fast forward 6 months and I called to make another appointment ready to make a drastic hair change. I have had long hair my entire life, and yet i was ready for a chop. Hilary was thrilled and made me even more excited for the dramatic change! She listened to exactly what I had in mind, patiently scrolled through the photos I had saved on my phone, and made the C – U – T. It was magical. She is so attentive in every step of the process. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dawn was amazing! She was able to accommodate my walk in which I greatly appreciated. I couldn’t stand my split ends any longer! She offered great advice for my hair based on previous color etc. I have never had such a gentle hair dresser cut my hair. I am very tender headed and my hair tangles just looking at it and I did not feel a thing with her! I am super pleased with my cut and so happy I found a hair dresser to go to after searching for so long!
