My bodywork is focused on treating pain. Pain can come from repetitive motion, muscular strain, or medical conditions such as arthritis. My role, as a massage therapist, is to assist in the healing process. The massage treatments are based on clients needs and goals for the massage session which means pressure and techniques (deep tissue, orthopedic, sports, etc.) vary from one client to the other. Massage has many benefits whether it is used as preventative care, rehabilitation for injury, or self care.

Excellent service! Alexis always focuses on the areas requested (shoulders, lower back, joints) and with the pressure desired. (Medium/deep for me). Her techniques have always addressed the muscle groups needing relief from tension and soreness. Scheduling appointments is easy and her rescheduling/cancelation process is great! She has been my massage therapist of choice for more than 2 years. I highly recommend Salinas Bodyworks.
