My sister and I decided to treat ourselves and go get our nails done. We walked in and the manager was polite and attentive. They accepted us as walk-ins at about 5pm. We only waited for about 10 minutes, and we were directed to 2 nail stations side by side. My nail technician started right away, while my sisters took a couple extra minutes to begin. We picked our colors and were beginning the process. We were slightly confused that the technicians didn’t push/trim our cuticles, nor did they remove a few hang nails my sister had (she’s 14.)

My daughter got a manicure done three days ago at Salina Nails with her father’s girlfriend. She returned to me this morning in pain and with signs of infection from a “botched” manicure. I have scheduled for her to see a Dr. to have her injuries evaluated and treated. The salon made the excuse that the manicurist was inexperienced, but anyone with a certification to do nails should know better and do better! My daughter’s cuticle-areas are bloody and butchered up into the meat of her fingers. They are hot to the touch and painful enough that she has cried in pain while trying to use her hand. My hope now is that the tools were at least somewhat hygienic and sanitary. It’s bad enough to be injured, but she could have a bacterial infection (or worse if there was any blood on the tools from a previous client). I’m just shocked and appalled. The photos really don’t even show how bad it is in-person.

Will not go back again cuticle area was not touched and it looked terrible, also the nail didn’t go near all the way to the back. The shape was not what I wanted asked for a change once then gave up. I asked for squoval more square not pointed, nails only lasted 5 days then came off. Zen nails last almost 3.5 weeks. They used to be better.

The manager is wonderful makes sure you’re taken care of but other than that I feel so upset that my nails a toes look the way they do!!! Nails are not straight not the shape I asked for and showed pics toe nails cut way way short paid a little extra for better pedicure I finally just said stop I’ll do it at home! I don’t think I’ll be back.

Appreciate the care given to my Mother as she was here on vacation from Washington State. She said it was the best experience! She could not say enough about the service, from the comfortable chairs while having a pedicure to the massage received on her legs and also her scalp. Salina nails has so many chairs that there usually is little to no wait time. Lots of staff ready to pamper you and give you a relaxing experience. Take a friend, your spouse or just have a little free time for yourself but definitely go!
