if you go here and want your hair decent it’s a MUST you ask for Salima’s daughters… the older ladies CLEARLY aren’t hipped to the latest styles you’ll literally have to coach them on your hair. I love this braiding shop but it’s a hit or miss. I had my knotlesss done august 19 already having to take them out because they decided to make huge parts and little braids in the back— a hot mess! ♀️

These ladies are very talented but….very lazy, they didn’t add the buns to my stich braids like I showed them on my phone…than when I said I wasn’t happy they said it was my fault because I didn’t bring my own braid hair….all the times I’ve been here and pretty much any braid shop they never require me to bring braid hair. I will definitely not be going back here. They did fix my braids but I had to go back to the salon after the braids came apart.

I came to this place ONE time and my hair GREW LIKE CRAZY. This is no joke. My edges came out because I wore a lot of wigs with glue. By the time I came back, I literally couldn’t believe it. My hair was longer than I have ever seen it in my LIFE. I lost the shop info and ACCIDENTALLY found it again. This will be my hair salon from here on out! Salima is great and her shop has GROWING hands. I could NOT ask for more. If I could give 100 stars, it wouldn’t be enough. I’m grateful for this shop.

These are photos of my granddaughters hair the SAME day she got it done by Salima. My daughter came over my house and I looked at her head and said, you paid for THAT???!!! the part was crooked, her hair was EXTREMELY fuzzy!! Just look at the pictures.. my daughter told Salima it was OK bcuz she didn’t want to cause a scene. I took her back the next day which was yesterday,,salima told me to bring her at 5..I got there right before 5.. she was not even there and NEVER showed up,, so another lady did it. She did a good job BUT she used TOOOOOOO much of the edge control I brought in.. I didn’t want her using JAM which melts and do not lay ANYTHING down.. In a few hours, your hair is curled up. I’m a hairstylist,, so I know.. but my babies hair looked like Jermaine Jackson.. that’s how shellaced it was!!!! I came home and took some of it off.. but end of story…I wouldn’t recommend this braiding salon.. my daughter got hers done by salima also and her parts were crooked also.. she didn’t know until I looked at it. When she looked in the mirror, she was like wow.. so this is our experience which was the last! Plus she put ALOT of gel and spritz on my granddaughters head which was unnecessary! After leaving yesterday with my product in her hair, this morning when she woke up for school,, it was still laid down WITHOUT gel or spritz!

There were people there that didn’t have on face masks and it seemed like face masks were vital there with the sign on the door. I picked my phone up to send a text message and the lady braiding my hair touched my phone looking for the picture… I did not confront her but I was very frustrated. I got my hair braided here a couple days ago. My experience was NOT professional. There were people there that didn’t have on face masks and it seemed like face masks were vital there with the sign on the door. I picked my phone up to send a text message and the lady braiding my hair touched my phone looking for the picture… I did not confront her but I was very frustrated. Critical: Quality, ValueI’ve had tree braids done many times. This should never ever happen when you get tree braids. It doesn’t matter how hard somebody brushes their hair, clumps of hair should not be coming out. And I did not even brush it. My braids have been in for less than 2 weeks. They started coming out on the third day. This is not good service. Amy did my hair and ever since then I’ve had hair coming out. Very unacceptable. I paid WAY too much for something that is supposed to last 6weeks only lasted 2. Also like all african braiders, they like to switch up price on you which I do not appreciate. I’ve had tree braids done many times. This should never ever happen when you get tree braids. It doesn’t matter how hard somebody brushes their hair, clumps of hair should not be coming out.
