I call ahead and still have to wait 40 mins to 1 hour, to have my hair rushed and done unevenly all while being upsold with a higher price then agreed. Never going back… Hairstyling

Now the 1st time I got my braids done. Excellent. The second time was OK but the texture was different, and plus they were training this young lady who did okay. The only problem I had was braids falling out and and it didn’t last long so I took them down. But otherwise they are good. Don’t do it! They talk horrible to customers! They argue with each other in front of customers. I will never go here again. They don’t even take down braids that they do. They charge more for smaller size braids and dont give you smaller braids. They will tell you they will not do your hair anymore if you tell them you don’t like the style they did. This is the worst braid shop I have ever been to as far as customer service goes.

I Decided to give Sakho a try. After reading the reviews I made an appointment. The ladies are very nice, polite and FAST! I absolutely love my hair. I found the comment that was made to me extremely rude and unprofessional because my hair texture is something I was born with. The comment made me feel slightly insecure about my hair. Also, they braided really tightly to the point that my scalp felt like it was burning. Besides this, the braids were decent. I’m an African American young woman with coarse hair and the two times I recently got my hair braided at this shop, I was told that I didn’t have “good” hair to get the hairstyles I desired. I found the comment that was made to me extremely rude and unprofessional because my hair texture is something I was born with. The comment made me feel slightly insecure about my hair. I like the fact that the lady they called mama took her time out to braid my hair, even though it was really short in the top from weaves and thinning.She was the only one that was willing to braid my hair in the top. She did a great job considering what she was working with. I will return for her to do my hair.
