Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityWaited half an hour into my appointment time – staff and woman that did my nails was not friendly. I remained polite and friendly but I felt uncomfortable and felt unwelcome the entire time. Nail art is offered as a service on their website but she did not want to do nail art so I asked to do french tip instead. My nail shapes were not filed to be consistent (they were all different shapes and lengths). I hate the colors that I chose which isn’t their fault at all, it’s mine- but the polish job looks clunky and kind of lumpy and the french tips were too thick and not consistent. She rushed the job and didn’t put in much care or effort. The tips are also quite patchy and too translucent in some areas. I’m not very good at painting my nails which is why I came here but I do think I could do a better job than this so I will have to get some supplies and fix it when I get home. I haven’t gotten my nails done in a long time so I was quite excited for today (going to a wedding soon!) but this was such a disappointment. I wanted my mom and I to have a nice experience together since tomorrow is her 60th birthday but I feel like I’ve let her down bringing her here. My mom and I have been going to this salon for years and each time we come back thinking it will be a better experience but we end up leaving thinking the experience was just ok. Every time I’ve had this nail technician she has been kind of rude and unfriendly. Waited half an hour into my appointment time – staff and woman that did my nails was not friendly. I remained polite and friendly but I felt uncomfortable and felt unwelcome the entire time. She did not talk to me at all or engage in any conversation but she talked to her other coworkers. She designed my nails very poorly. Did not get the nails I asked for. The lady I had filed off my skin instead of my nail and was very harsh. She did not talk to me at all or engage in any conversation but she talked to her other coworkers. She designed my nails very poorly. I had a friend with me and she was also disappointed with her nails. They made us wait on their time instead of ours and was unprofessional. I do not recommend getting your nails done there.
