My experience was very unpleasant. The braider I had was Esther. First, she lied about the price she would charge. I called and went to the shop so she can see my hair a day before to schedule an appointment. She looked at my hair and told me how much she would charge for the hairstyle I requested, and stated it would be a 4 hr job because I didn’t have much hair. On the day of the appt she tried to over charge what she quoted the day before. I informed her so she reluctantly stayed with the price she quoted previously. It took her 6 1/2 hrs because she added too much hair and did something different than what I requested. The braids were so tight and heavy, I had to take them out the SAME day because my scalp was awfully sore and red. She used so much hair it was weighing me down. I didn’t need all that hair, it was totally not the style I asked for. They don’t listen and they have bad attitudes. She continued making calls (redialing #s that called the shop) to get more business, she even dialed my # and I’m sitting in her chair! They are so thirsty for $$$ & unprofessional. They are liars and conniving . Bad service and a waste of money!

Had an appointment three weeks ago. Never again. Not at all what I wanted and so heavy I had to take them out and redo them myself. She added enough hair to braid up 4 other people; felt like a 7 lb bowling ball was hanging off my head. The picture below is the hair I had to take OUT of my head just to be able to function. Extremely dissatisfied.

I went to the shop to get knotless braids paid $200 not satisfied I was told they will not take my hair down said they could put box braids at the top really matter never rectified I will never do business again with them stylist tells me she will give me a discount next time customers should be satisfied when leaving the shop we don’t have to accept anything when we are spending our money we’re losing they are gaining this was done on 10/14/2022

Critical: ProfessionalismVery unprofessional, will never get my braids done there again. They give you a appt time and when you get there ur waiting for about 1 hour before you even get in the chair, they braid maybe 10-15 braids then gotta stop to go eat or if someone comes in that want French braids they stop doing your hair to do quick style French braids on others an even if your getting something simple be prepared to spend at least 8 hours there.. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI had a service 2 weeks ago. I wanted spring twist and what I got was a mess. I showed her the image of what I wanted and Dede told me she could deliver. They pulled a plug out my head and told me it would grow back, instead of apologizing, and they used the wrong Hair. Then she put to much hair on my head, my head was heavy and way to tight. Once I told her I was not satisfied she told me to come back. When I went back got her to correct she had the audacity to charge me an additional 40. They lack customer service skills and they are very rude. Sahans is not following the CDC guidelines. They wore their masks under their chin . Now I thought the purpose of making an appointment was to be avoid having to wait. But mid way through, they stopped working on my hair to start service On a walk I’mClient. Not to mention She stopped many times to talk on the phone and tend to children who were there. I had a very good experience. They were able to fit me in the day of. I got 2 feed ins braids with weave attached and it turned out great! Big thanks to the shop. They made me feel welcomed I definitely will be back.

Atmosphere was ok, but I had spoken to the owner (DD)when I made my appointment. She assured me she was the one who would be doing my hair. She wasn’t even there til time to collect my money. Surprisingly they did not ask for the money before starting to braid because of all the signs on the wall. Two people doing my brsids yet I didn’t get the style I asked for. I showed them a picture in advance and they assured me that they could do it. The owner gave me one price over the phone and raised it up at collection time. I am a quiet person and didn’t need a confrontation because of a recent health problem so I paid and left. I will NEVER go back. They are shady. Most black women will pay for what we want, but expect it to be right. Got braids done last night and took them out today. I could have bought a entire wardrobe and a wig for the amount I paid . Ladies there are other places and I suggest you get references before giving your money away.

Service was professional but crochet skills are very poor. I got it done yesterday and already I took it down. I went back for them to fix it because they put too much hair in my head. 8 packs to be exact. I had 6 packs originally and they should’ve made that work. But instead I had to get 2 more pack after 3/4 of my hair done. I had to go back to the shop the same day. I needed to remove some hair just to put in a ponytail. Now the hair was less on my left side and very full on my right. I can say I will go to a different shop next time. I seen them doing micros which looked nice but my hair was embarrassing. Good at other styles but shouldn’t attempt to crochet
