Dez did absolutely amazing with my son! She sat with him for 15 minutes just getting him comfortable with her and her combs and clippers. I warned her that he doesn’t do well with haircuts, but after she worked with him before doing anything with his hair, he was completely comfortable with her doing what she had to do. 10/10 recommend! We’ll be going to her from now on, she’s amazing!

We came in to see Dez for a new school year cut and she was AWESOME. My niece asked for curtain bangs with long layers, which is a new style for her. Dez completely delivered. Kid is completely over the moon with her new style and so am I!

My five year olds hair was down to her butt. It needed to be cut a little bit. I called and asked for the works so my daughter could have a fun experience. Worst decision of my life. They didn’t wash her hair, they asked where I wanted it and I showed them, she said oh down to the arm pits I said no longer than that. She uses the water bottle and mists my daughters hair and uses detangler on it. Starts cutting it. She cuts it to her shoulders. I start crying in the store and have to leave. Came back in for a moment and say it’s too short I said not that short. And the hairdresser said it was arm pit length. It isn’t at all. I paid as I was shaking and crying because I am not the kind of person to not pay, but when I looked at the receipt it was 48$. That was the amount for hair washing and everything. I called and asked. I didn’t get that service and they talked to the hair dresser and she was saying not to even refund me but $10 off was fine. I am heart broken that they took so much hair off. I know it grows back but it’s been 3+ years to get it there. I can’t even look at my daughter without crying. Do not go here if you want long hair.

I will be back! They were clean, not cluttered, and running right on time with scheduled appointment. I was offered wine or other drink options while I waited, and they have a coloring table for siblings. It’s tucked in the back of a building but I found street parking easily in front of the door.

They will save a snip and take a picture for your memories.The goal is for your child to become comfortable in the salon atmosphere, and have fun. And that they do!! Kids come out looking amazing snd the staff is super friendly.

Brough both of my stepsons there and it was fantastic! Even in the middle of this COVID chaos, it was still a lovely experience. The atmosphere was bright, cleaning and welcoming. Barbara and Rebecca cut their hair and the ladies did an amazing job! They each wanted a variation of the “hipster cut” and the ladies nailed it.

We’ve been coming to Sage for about 8 years now (since it was Sit Still). We love Barb, the owner, and we love that the salon now cuts adult hair too. My dad has very curly hair and Barb is the only person who always cuts it well. My son has very thick, luscious hair with an insane cowlick, but Barb can always tame it! I would recommend Sage to anyone!
