I am a somewhat recent out-of-state transplant to NJ and was very nervous to find a new salon and stylist after having been with my last one for over a decade. I decided to take a chance on Sage and Ash Salon and I’m very glad I did. The stylist I was assigned to was Hope. I was ready for a much overdue change but was unsure of exactly what I wanted. I gave vague instructions to Hope and kind of let her decide what to do with me. It turned out great! I did have to go back just to tweak the cut a bit, but that was a very easy process and I have zero complaints. The best part–I got a ton of compliments from many different coworkers! The salon itself is attractive, clean, and neat. If you decide to try this place, ask for Hope–she is professional, friendly, and efficient. I was very pleased with my experience! I have already rebooked my next appointment.

I cannot express how happy I am with my hair. I’ve been going to Sage & Ash since a little after they first opened (2 years ago) and never looked back. All of their stylists are so talented and know exactly what they’re doing. I do blonde highlights (full and partial), haircuts with layers, blowouts (for styling and weddings), etc. Everything always comes out amazing and they make sure of it. Melissa is the primary owner and who I go to. She really is a master of hair and so honest. You can also tell she is a leader who treats not only her clients, but her employees with respect, care, and kindness.

Such a lovely salon! Upon entering Sage & Ash I felt a sense of absolute relaxation. The space itself is so gorgeous, but the people who work here are even more wonderful. Calling all ladies with short hair!!! Stop searching and RUN to this salon. Melissa and Linda have created a wonderful, beautiful, relaxed environment that makes you feel like family. Can’t find a stylist for a pixie?! Linda can. She has rocked my ever changing pixie cut, undercut, buzz cut and attempts at growing out my pixie.
