We are a creative hair style salon specializing in modern cut and color techniques. We welcome all types of hair cutting – pixie, undercut, up do, shag hair, Mohawk haircut, fashion mullets men’s haircuts and more. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and create the exact style that makes you feel like you. From rainbows or balayage, we do fantasy hair, fire hair, mermaid hair and don’t forget gray blending and traditional highlights and low lights to compliment your natural look. We do barber style cuts on all sexes. Even with simple cuts and curls, we’re confident that you will leave looking and feeling great! Weddings are welcome and special appointment hours are available on request. All are welcome. Come see how good you can look!

This place right here is a MUST go to!! Danielle aka Panduh is a really rad gal. Her knowledge in the hair business will blow your mind. If you’re rad like me and are looking for out of this world colors, cuts this is the place to go. Hands down. Danielle takes care of you and is simply the best in the biz. Go there and see for yourself! You’ll thank me later. The atmosphere in her shop is super dope which makes it that more unique. If you ❤️ dogs as much as me, you’ll love her dog Cassie who is always there with her. Super friendly and will love you. Panduh Kat, owner of Safe Space Salon, trimmed and colored my hair, and I absolutely love it! I had always heard that bleaching was usually necessary to get rainbow colors, but she was able to forego the bleaching, the colors look terrific, and my hair feels great. She has so much haircolor experience, we’re lucky to have her here in Durham! Every day I get so many compliments on the colors. It’s fun to see how the different colors show with different buns and ponytails, too. Very highly recommended.

She’s the first professional that I ever went to for coloring my hair. She’s amazing and made sure I knew exactly what I needed to keep my color for as long as possible. On top of that she didn’t charge extra for more than one color and helped me to find the perfect look when I wasn’t sure about a couple of things. She supports local artists, the LBGT community and is an amazing person. I tell everyone who asks about my hair about her and definitely suggest ya go to her too!!
