Jacqueline, the owner and therapist at Sacred Serenity, was amazing! The studio is in a really cute Victorian house right off of main street, Jacqueline took the time to share about herself and her process prior to the massage, and the service itself was great and exactly what I asked for. I booked a 90 minute, and after checking the time from when she left the room for me to get ready and from when I left, she definitely spent more than 90 minutes with me for the actual service, which is rare in this industry I think! Much better experience than one of the chains I’ve frequented in the past.

One star because I was never able to make an appointment. I tried to be patient with Jacqueline as she had personal reasons for not being able to schedule a massage. However, I could see she was still selling her services and receiving recent reviews so clearly was able to give her services. This has been going on since September! I have now texted three times in December (she said she’d be back to giving massages in December), with no response.

I took a chance on booking a Groupon for a massage even though I read many reviews that others weren’t able to actually book an appointment. I made a scheduling request through the online booking platform but never received a confirmation. I followed up with a message left on Jacqueline’s phone. When I didn’t hear back, I canceled my Groupon order as well as emailed Jacqueline that I canceled my appointment request. Only after leaving a negative review did I hear from Jacqueline. She stated she had me “confirmed” for the appointment which was now the following day and I wasn’t able to make. She also said that Groupon has listed her number incorrectly, in which I replied I had the correct number in my call log. She then told me she had some personal issues going on but her clients “mean a lot to her”. I wasn’t able to schedule a massage at that time on my end, but she stated she would honor the Groupon price. I decided to remove my review after speaking to her.

I would give zero stars if possible. I bought a groupon for bridal makeup. $115 and made my appointment. Jacqueline did not respond to confirm the appointment for two days. Once I arrived she said she called me to see what I was looking for. I never got any call. I told her I wanted a natural look. She asked what colors I usually use and I told her. I should have left when I saw her bring out the makeup and her brushes. The makeup looked 20 years old and her brushes were well used. I’m guessing cleaned maybe years ago. More than half way through she left the room to wet a brush and I got a chance to look in a mirror. She has no experience in makeup to say the least. I started tearing up because she made me look like a clown. I have spent the past year or so watching Robert welsh and have learned many tricks about doing makeup. She didn’t do any of them. She did no conture, the liner was above my lides to the point you could easily tell. She even used the liner straight from the bottle. All things that are done by inexperienced make artists. I didn’t have time to have her even try to fix it nor would I want her to. She was so proud of her job. I left and instantly removed it. I cried the entire drive to my hair appointment. Thankfully I didn’t have her do that too. I ended up 20 minutes late to my own wedding because I had to redo my own makeup. I am thankful I have learned how to make it look the way I wanted. Buyer be ware. DO NOT LET THIS WOMEN DO YOUR MAKEUP UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOOK LIKE A CLOWN. The first picture is her makeup. The second is my own.
