I got my hair braided here 2 weeks ago and I love it. I get complements. I am able to do so much with the style that I was given. There was a slight misunderstanding, but it was correctly and I was not made to feel bad. Very friendly shop, I will go here again whenever I decide to get braids. I thought they were professional and thoughtful. Thank you S&D!

Critical: Cleanliness, Punctuality, QualityDo not go to this place! I had looked them up and ignored the negative reviews, but that was very idiotic. Yesterday I called and asked to get shoulder-length box braids at 9:30 am today and they said that time was fine and the hair braiding should take 4-5 hours. I show up at 9:30 today and the store is closed, I call the owner ten minutes later and they say they’ll send someone over in a few minutes. I waited for 30 more minutes before someone came to open the shop. When we finally did get inside I showed them the style and length I wanted using multiple photos. They say that they can do it, but 3/4 into braiding my head I remind them of the length I want and they try to convince me that mid-back length is better. I insist that I want it short and they agree again that they can do that. They finally finish braiding and the length is mid-back. I had sat in that chair for close to 7 hours for a style that I did not choose and I was too fed up to argue so I just paid the $160 and left. Do not go to this place! I had looked them up and ignored the negative reviews, but that was very idiotic. Yesterday I called and asked to get shoulder-length box braids at 9:30 am today and they said that time was fine and the hair braiding should take 4-5 hours. Very nice friendly atmosphere! The workers does a very good job braiding. Respectful. Make you feel welcomed. Did my daughter hair twice and I was a satisfied customer each time.

She did an amazing sew in. Only problem is she doesn’t cut hair and she didn’t wash me before braiding me up so I had to try to find someone who will cut other people’s weaves…very very hard to find. And thankfully I washed and dyed my own hair that morning.In the end I had to cut it myself. I will go back because it’s the best sew in I’ve ever had but I will arrange to have it cut before I get it done so I’m not wrapped for 2 weeks waiting for a cut. All in all she is a very talented woman and a very laid back shop.

I had a great experience. My hair looks fantastic. The only thing I should have done better was thoroughly comb through my natural hair. But evenwith that my hairdresser dealt with my natural hair very well… My experience would have been quicker if my hair was thoroughly combed out. So I know better for next time. But I will definitely be coming back in 3 months to get my hair done again
