One star doesn’t quite seem fair…seems like one star too many since I have nothing to rate. That’s right— 3:15 Sunday appointment and the stylist DIDN’T SHOW UP. Made the appointment for my daughter to get her hair cut before school starts. We show up, salon is closed, so I called the shop- no answer. Text the stylist. No answer. Text the stylist again. No answer. Three days—NOTHING. NADA. I would have understood if it were an emergency, but for no one to have gotten back after this long? Absolutely pathetic. Waste of time on a Sunday. Waste of gas. Disappointed child. Congrats– Rumor has it, this salon is incredibly unprofessional. With as many salons as there are to choose from, they better get it together if they want to survive in this economy.

I used this salon about 4 times. Each time I was booked with the owner. She does excellent work, I was never unhappy upon leaving after my appointments. However, getting an appointment is crazy. She doesn’t answer her voicemails, which is how you are supposed to contact her. Each time it would take at least three messages over a series of days to contact her. The last time I went through this she was flooded in another town and couldn’t make the scheduled appointment. It was no big deal. I’m very flexible. She said she’d call back when she was able to get out and she never called back. After a few days I called again. She’d gotten back days before. Something else happened on my end health wise and said I’d call her back. When I did she answered the phone and said she was with a client and would call back. She never called back. I found another salon and have never looked back. She is great at booking appointments and does great work! The salon owner at Rumors is very talented but nobody should have to work that hard to get an appointment.

The girl Jorianne (not sure about spelling) did my cousin’s wedding hair and it was GORGEOUS. She took her time, squeezed her in on her off day and did amazing with her huge curly hair. Cut and all!

I have been to many salons in Broken Arrow, this is probably the best. A lady named Diane, washed, cut, and highlighted my hair. My hair has never looked so good!! She is a wonderful lady that actually listens to what you want. I recommend her to everyone both men and women.

I have had great experiences at Rumors. My stylist fixed my hair just the way I liked it, and the salon is quiet and upscale. I like the new furnishings and updated interior. The seating was comfortable. I think the new ownership has done great things for this salon.
