Critical: QualityI went in for a trial bridal up do. Showed my inspiration pictures and this is what I got. Very frizzy, messy (not in a good way), and not at all what I pictured. I absolutely love Rumors salon- decor is warm and inviting, not to mention tasteful- and staff, stylists and masseus are fantastic. Nissi is my go to for hair & nails, and we laugh and she’s great, and Sammie is strong and will give you a massage sure to leave you feeling like jello and better than when you arrived. Appreciate the availability. Only rec is a booking tool as they get so busy they sometimes have a line to take calls for scheduling. Happy to have found my go to salon after moving to Brighton. Highly recommend.

I was very, very hesitant to come back to Rumors after a less than desired haircut result back in 2021. I had felt completely dismissed on what I wanted and ended up with hair I had no idea what to do with. After much debate, I decided to give this salon another try with a different stylist. I’m so thankful to both Trenity and Keisha for fixing my hair. Trenity actually listened to what I wanted and pulled in Keisha to help fix the botched layers I had. These ladies delivered and I will gladly book with either one of them going forward!

I am annoyed with this salon and will never book again. I had a family emergency and had to leave stare. When I made my appointment NO ONE told me their cancellation policy they just took money off my account without permission or an heads up on the policy until it was to late. The lady who called was very rude and inconsiderate. Never going back.

DEFENSIVE! Had to change my review to even lower stars due to a rude response from the owner..after calling the salon, it was destiny who was my stylist, and I found out isn’t employed there anymore..hmmm.. The salon IS. A mess, unorganized and dirty. Just cuz you pay someone to clean it doesnt mean it gets cleaned..and just because you have been open for a long time doesnt mean you dont employ uneducated stylists. I noticed other bad reviews so just take some responsibility and make your salon better. DUH

Disappointed in the service. I requested an appointment and didn’t say it had to be a specific day or time. I assumed I was scheduled when the stylist had time for the service. First I sat for 20 or so minutes after the scheduled time before she got to me. After applying hair dye, I was left to sit for over an hour while she worked on someone else. When she finally came back to rinse out the dye, there was dye spots on my forehead, top of my ears and back of my neck, which of course would not come off because they were dry.

This place is amazing!!! First haircut in almost two years, and the stylist I had was simply outstanding. She was very personable, checked in with me on length and style regularly and was great with my kiddo at the same time. Brooke is who I will be going to from this point on.

Honestly so disappointed. Had Micheal do a “balayage” … $300, 2 sessions and 4 hours later I am left with brassy orange hair that is only dyed in the middle.
