My son needed his hair cut for homecoming and a couple of his friends recommended the place. We walked in without an appointment and they fit him in. If you don’t want to take the chance or wait, make an appointment. It was in the afternoon and it was busy, all the chairs were filled and 90% of the waiting chairs were occupied. There were kids getting cuts and men getting their beards groomed. Everyone was friendly and professional. My son got a great cut!

Got my hair cut here for the first time today by Cesar and he did an excellent job. Best fade I’ve had in quite a while! FYI though, this is a cash-only place. I saw another review say they accept cards, they do not. They do have an ATM on site though. I’ll definitely be back, thanks again!

Good prices, staff are nice, great little neighborhood barber shop. Good with kids. Up to date on current styles. Very welcoming of all races, genders and ages. Recommend an appointment if you have a particular barber you want, but you can get a walk in most days.

Jeziel did a phenomenal job cutting my hair and giving me the first str8 edge razor shave I’ve ever had! I walked out of Ruiz Barbershop looking and feeling like a new man. Their price was reasonable given the fact that I had multiple services performed. He deserved a 20% tip and it was an honor sitting in his chair. I found my experience quite relaxing, as there are multiple TVs to watch and the chairs are very comfy. Striking up a casual conversation with your barber is welcome here as well. Paying in cash is not the only accepted method (as mentioned in a previous review). I paid using my Visa debit card – Ruiz Barbershop has a card reader for both credit and debit card payments. Just note that there is a $1.00 service charge for using the credit/debit payment service. It would’ve cost me more to make an ATM cash withdrawal (at least $2.50). I noticed all of the customer interactions with the entire staff were positive and upbeat. Not one negative event occurred during my entire stay – and I was there for a hot minute with a large customer flow. I will definitely be returning to Ruiz Barbershop in the future. Their superior quality work far exceeds the surrounding competition. Thank you, and keep it up!!! ✂️
