Under the current circumstance due to covid, there haven’t been many places open. The vast majority I called didn’t even pick up the phone. Despite Rueben saying he was actually essentially on his way out, he listened to me as I briefly explained my poor luck. His barber shop is located in West Sacramento, however I live in South Sac (20min away). He said he’d wait for me to get there. Honestly to me that’s a great man right there. You dont see too much of that kind of stuff nowadays. And the haircut was excellent. Heads up to everyone though: CASH ONLY

I took my son here this morning for his first haircut. I was ignored by every single person working. I waited 10 minutes without any sort of acknowledgment since everybody was working on a client. At this point, another customer came in, was instantly greeted and was told that he would be next. At this point, I left and will never go back. I don’t know if the treatment was because I’m a woman or because they didn’t want to deal with my son but this is not the sort of behavior one should exhibit in a professional environment.
