I had a great experience at Ruby Salon. I called for a price estimate on how much it would cost to go pink and they gave me a reasonable range so I made an appointment with Brooke. When I entered the salon I was greeted and it looked very clean. Brooke came right away to meet me and was very nice and friendly. We discussed what I wanted done (to dye my head completely pink). She was very concerned on how the bleach would react with my hair and made it very clear she cared more about the integrity of my hair then the color. I completely agreed as its been a long journey on growing my hair. The music was classic rock which was amazing to listen to my favorite songs as I sat in the chair. My experience was great, not only Brooke was very nice but all of the other staff were as well. I have been getting so many compliments on my new hair color and I am in love with it. I will be returning to get the pink touched up. I have already recommended this salon to other people and its a great location being right near main street in downtown Annapolis where you can shop or get a bite to eat.

I have been going to Ruby Salon since 2006, so I have been going there for 7 years now and haven’t let anyone else touch my hair since, obviously I am more then happy! – I would have probably been a customer there earlier but I lived in San Diego. A friend recommended the Salon when I was looking for a place in Annapolis and I have been going there ever since. Kelly Fisher is my stylist and she is amazing! She does the most amazing color and cuts and I always have fun chatting with her. The whole staff is incredibly friendly and Courtney, who is the first face you see when you walk in is so sweet and helpful! I just love everyone there. Kelly Fisher did my hair, my bridesmaids hair, and my mom’s hair at my wedding in 2010! I have recommended friends and family there and my mom goes to Ruby Salon as well! I would highly recommend Ruby Salon to anyone!

Ruby Salon is staffed with the most talented, friendly and reliable hairdressers and front desk people. I just recently made the change to this salon and I am SO glad that I did. My hair looks fantastic, not just for a few days but for the full 6 weeks before it’s time to go back for my next cut/color. I don’t think that I’ve ever had a stylist as talented and creative as Kelly and I can assure you that I’ll be a lifer at this salon. Now that I’ve finally found a place where the folks know how to cut short hair and do fantastic color! And they listen to you!!!!!! worth every penny!!!

This was my first time having my hair cut at Ruby salon. The stylist Celine was super nice, did a great job, cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. The space was comfortable, modern but not cold. There was great natural lighting from the large windows. Will definitely go back there next time.

While my hair stylist worked hard and did his best, he was a brand-new stylist with very limited experience and a lack of confidence. I feel like, particularly as a new customer, I should have been alerted when making the appointment that I had been assigned to a novice stylist. I get that everyone needs to start somewhere but for $180 color/cut, I could have gotten a better cut (and certainly faster cut and color) are Hair Cuttery for 1/3 of the price. I just think it is best practice to tell the client ahead of time who they are getting and let them decide if they want to take a chance on a new stylist.

I’ve been going to Ruby for years. I tried just about every high end salon in the area first before I discovered this gem. Kelly (one of the owners) has been my stylist for years and I trust her so much that I let her decide what to do with my hair more often than not. She is terrific and has made my hair look good now for 6 years! Also the rest of the team is terrific as well especially Courtney!! Go check it out!!!!

I was in Annapolis for work and had several hours free, so I decided to use the time to have my hair colored and trimmed. I took a chance going to a place I had never been, but the reviews of Ruby were all great. I made an appointment with Halie, the newest stylist at Ruby. Halie was able to match my color and, in addition, suggest some changes to the highlights. She is professional, friendly and skilled. I ended up with a fabulous look, and even though Annapolis is 40 minutes from my home, I am sure to go back to Halie! Thank you Ruby!

Ive been going to Ruby Salon since 2007. At that time I lived across the street in Park Place and was happy to find such a fabulous salon so close to home. I now live 1.5 hours away in southern MD and continue to come to Ruby because its WORTH IT!! Kelly is the best colorist in town (and out!) and the whole staff are fun, talented professionals. It is rare that I visit the salon and don’t run into at least one other friend because we all know Ruby’s is the best in Annapolis!
