I never review anything but this one comes from the heart and this is my best investment for myself. I’m 26 now and I’ve had PCOS and male patterned facial hair since the age of 15. My mental health and self confidence had almost deteriorated cuz I couldn’t get rid of my facial hair even after trying regular plucking, waxing, threading, and laser. Nothing would help for more than a week. I started my treatment with Rubiology in January 2021. I had so much hair that sometimes I’d go twice or thrice a week to get my face cleared in 40 min appointments, but now after almost 2 years I just go twice a month for 30 mins and 90-95% of my facial hair is cleared. These women use the best equipment for you to have the least amount of pain, on a scale of 1-10 (1 being lowest) I’d say it’s usually a 5 or lower, only on the mustache area it’s a 6 cuz that’s a sensitive area for everyone in general. Stephanie (the owner) is so kind and passionate to help you. She’s not only my electrologist but also a friend and sometimes a life coach. The whole staff is so eager to help you, they really empathize and understand how demotivating unwanted facial hair can be for people with PCOS. The key is to just stick to your appointments on a regular basis, drink enough water cuz it actually helps with the treatment to be more effective, and follow the guidelines they give you. You can leave the rest on them, you’re in good hands 🙂

The results are amazing, but the people are truly what make this place great! I had no idea what to expect – Pain? Burning? Skin irritation? None of that! I started going to Rubiology since Stephanie was at her previous location and it has always been an exceptional experience. I get treated with respect and kindness. This is truly a place where all imperfections are nothing to be ashamed of. I have all good things to say about this establishment. Always clean always smells nice and the staff is so welcoming. As for my progress and results I definitely notice big improvements. I can go 2 weeks without shaving and it’s no longer noticeable. The key is consistency, you have to stick with a treatment plan. Good things take time, and I am so glad I found this place. Only thing I am sad about theses days is that I don’t see Cooper much anymore, he is the sweetest. Electrolysis has changed the way I feel about my face and has increase my confidence. I had hair growth on my chin. As a women this made me feel very uncomfortable and decreased my self esteem.
