This is my second time coming to rubi nails and it was amazing. I didn’t get the name of my stylist but she did amazing. I got a deep French tip and a pedi. She accommodated me when I had a skirt on and was super nice. Totally recommend. Manicure, Pedicure

My husband and I each got manicures and pedicures. The place was very clean and calm — a lovely atmosphere. However, I wasn’t very impressed with the results. My nails are cut a little bit unevenly; I requested an oval/round shape, and some of them have a bit of a corner or something. (Granted, they were already pretty short, so the tech didn’t necessarily have a lot to work with). I got gel polish, and I don’t know if this is normal, but it’s like it wasn’t put on all the way or went far enough back, because some of the nails already look like they’re starting to grow out, although this was done just yesterday. Also, the tech cut me in a few places, but mistakes happen so I get that.

Went here for first time pedicure. I have been working over time and this was a much needed treat! This was the only place in the area that would accommodate a same day pedicure… disappointed they wouldn’t have time for the deluxe but the organic pedi I got was Amazing enough! & I felt it was very respectful that they were clear on the phone that it would be a Male tech & ensure that I was comfortable with that. As a guy, I first discovered pedicures, the best kept secret of the ladies, back in 2005 when I lived in Austin, Texas. A girl friend took me in for a pedicure on my birthday, which made me nervous, but when I got into the spa there was a University of Texas Longhorn football player getting a pedicure with a big smile on his face. After the experience, I made a good pedicure part of my routine. I’ve had pedicures now in various cities across the United States and also Europe. They are NOT all created equal. Here in the Shenandoah Valley, by far the best in this category for men and women is RUBI Nails & Spa. I am fortunate that I discovered Uyen Vu one of the co-owners who takes care of me on each visit. Her technique is flawless and she’s extremely tuned-in to people like me who I have sensitive feet. I’ve taken two other guys with me in the last couple of months and they also had great experiences with the other technicians. Everything is extremely clean and professional. They spare no detail and the prices are very fair. Highly recommend it!

Paid $70 for a gel manicure and pedicure and within 2 hours of leaving the salon, one of the nails chipped off. I went back the next morning and they fixed it and the following day another nail chipped off. That was on Sunday and they were closed. By Monday, 2 more nails chipped off. I went back and asked them to take the polish off my fingers and refund for the manicure since it did not work. They refused to refund my money and destroyed my nails taking the polish off. They basically filed the polish off and left my cuticles sore and my nails ruined. Worst manicure experience ever!

I went here for the first time and had a great experience. I was a few minutes early for my appointment but was still seated and my appointment began as soon as I arrived. The atmosphere is great. It is very organized and well decorated. I also cannot overstate how clean this place is. All tools used on me came directly out of a sanitized package. My tech took all of my requests on shape/style/design and everything turned out exactly as I asked. I am very happy with my nails and have my found my new go to nail place!
