I had my nails done there today for the first time ever. My technician was not friendly at all and she did a mediocre job at best. She also cut me 3 times and got mad when I said I shouldn’t be charged $10 extra for a “manicure” aka cuticle damage. Hoping I don’t get an infection because their tools are not in barbicide and I doubt they use an autoclave machine to sterilize. Will not be back.

I went to have my nails done at this place and never used them before, I told them that this week I might be getting engaged so it had to be Special. I showed the nail tech what color and design I wanted. And instead of her telling me she couldn’t do it she ruined my nails. So bad that I had to get them redone at a different salon. Whenever I asked to get my money back for my nails the manager proceeded to tell me it was my fault and it wasn’t. And instead he gave me a credit to come back to the salon that messed up my nails for only $30 and I ended up spending $185 there. They were very rude and a non-professional nail salon… who does that to someone? I didn’t say nothing when I walked out because I’m very shy and didn’t want to hurt no one feelings but my sister saw them and said this was Unacceptable. Royal Nails is THE BEST nail salon in Gainesville! The location is extremely clean, well stocked and staffed, and up to date on the beautiful ambiance. The service is incredible and you are warmly welcomed by the owner Lang, every time. The staff is very polite and attentive and can do any and every design you’d imagine. You are always offered a cold bottle of water and a snack by the owner. Lots of different options for pedicures and manicures. I highly recommend this nail salon every time. Make sure you schedule an appointment at least a day in advance because appointment times fill up very quickly because of the wonderful service!

Critical: QualitySelena did a terrible job today. I went in for Dip powder and she completely messed up the length that I wanted as well as the nail itself. My pointer finger nail on my right hand was slanted and shorter than all the other ones. I had to go home and file it so it wouldn’t look slanted. She was very rough on my nails when using the buffer. Lynn did a great job the first time (hence why I went back). I asked for her but she was busy with someone else. I honestly should’ve just waited until she got done so I could have her do them since she did an amazing job the first time. Needless to say, I’m never going back. First time client. Received a basic pedicure with gel polish. The pedicure start to finish was less than 45 minutes, which I thought was quite fast compared to previous pedicures at other locations. Tech ripped my cuticle which resulted in an extreme amount of pain and Paronychia. Urgent care visit that required lancing and draining of infection and a round of antibiotics. In addition, I had the pedicure less than 10 days ago and color has already come off my nail (4th toe on left foot). Very unfortunate experience all the way around.

I had my usual SNS nails .. I called and the owner / manager was very polite over the phone . I wanted to make an appt but he said to come on in . I ask the hours and he said 7 pm( it was 6p) but if I got there before 7 , they would help me . When I got there , I was greeted and then checked in . The owner /manager sat me down . They were packed and really busy . I waited maybe 10 minutes and then Lynn came . Before that , I was brought water and candy. I was also handed a color book. I showed Lynn what I wanted and she exceeded my expectations. They are all very kind and attentive . I will defiantly come back . The place is so clean and very well kept and sanitized . They also have a lot of color choices , designs and many nail art selections. I was done by 720pm . Lynn was great and focused on my nails

Overall my techs were good ,this place is very pricey,then after one week of having my new set of SNS on one broke off ,I called and they said well it’s been a week, um excuse me I have worn SNS 4 weeks at a time and never break a nail ,she said ok well come in an we’ll fix it ,we’ll see I’m going in today

I booked an appointment for today at 10. I get sns and I was in and out in one hour! I was so pleased with the service from beginning to end. The man who booked my appt was extremely sweet and I love that they bring you a snack and water. My nails look GORGEOUS and despite it being fast, they were done fabulously. I will be back for sure.

Customer service is terrible I waited over 30 minutes to get someone all the host or whatever he was could say was someone will be here in five minutes!!! I’ve been here before and they rush through everything but I really just needed a quick manicure. I ended up walking out of the salon without anyone trying to apologize or even try to make it right. I do not recommend this place to anybody.
