I have dreadlocks.. very small parts and I’m highly specific about who styles my crown and how they go about it for many reasons. Nevertheless this by far is the best service I have ever personally experienced. In my 6-7 years of maintaining my locks. And if your not a fan of wearing your natural hair they also install tracks/wigs for you … not only that, the bundles/wigs that u get from your usual vendor pales in comparison to the quality of what you may acquire exclusively at royal oats. I’ve taken my 4 year old daughter to a number of salons to get her hair braided, but each time my daughter cries saying that it hurts so I decided not to take her anymore until she got older. But her birthday was approaching and wanted a style that would last. Two days before her birthday I was searching online for a place that caters to kids, that’s when I found this salon. This place caters to children to the fullest extent, from the private room for kids, to the decor, and to the amazing staff that made my daughter feel comfortable. She did not cry or wiggle. Cass and her staff interacted with her and treated her like a princess. On top of that her hair came out beautiful.

After almost 2 yrs of chemo, my hair was basically nonexistent! Cass from Royal Oates cared for and treated my hair with such therapeutic care…today, my hair is growing back like crazy!! I️ RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANY & ALL WHO WANT A TRUE BEAUTICIAN!!! And the ambiance is absolutely amazing!!! They just moved to their new location @ 6 Gramatan Ave, Mt. Vernon, NY!!
