The nail salon has its good qualities. They are friendly and with natural nails I have seen some good work done. However , When it comes to acrylic, it’s usually uneven, they come up quick or break and the design work is not up to par with the very high prices. I just did a fill in and a simple design and it came out to $110 .. sorry that is way too much for the work and the designs weren’t even even to the other hand. They have a lot of great places in Jackson heights and corona for acrylics and they do very up to date designs for a lot less and better results .

Right next to the Royal Beauty Nail, it’s the Royal Beauty Hair salon. I would describe it as an old-fashioned barber shop located in a high traffic Asian mall. The location makes the shop popular; however the way and the quality of the shop, it’s very so-so.

I came here today ( 11/29/2022 ) around 4-430 ish. To get a soak off. I got treated differently not in a bad way either! I can’t recall the young man’s name he might be the owner he has brown/blondish in his hair. Not all salons pull out your chair but they do! The royal family are SO KIND/SWEET! . While I was getting my nails soaked he brought me a towel ( my favorite color ) to keep my hands warm. He made sure I was okay and he had was working on 3 ppl at once it was too damn cool and he didn’t forget not one person! He treated everybody the same I mean where do you see somebody like him ?? Very rare! I can imagine how happy I would be if I booked a full treatment! Not to mention I love the fact they recommend booking an appointment. Everything they do is super kudos to them

I have come to this beauty salon to get my nails done a few times. The prices are fairly reasonable, pedicures cost around $23 and manicures cost around $13 (regular manicure). Gel manicures cost around $30, and they also offer nail designs here. The salon is nice, and they sterilize the pedicure basins between customers. The fans are not as strong for drying your nails at the end of the pedicures and manicures. But overall, I like this nail salon and I would recommend it.

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI went to Royal Beauty Nail today to get coffin shaped black acrylic nails with gel polish. I was able to walk in without an appointment because it wasn’t as busy. The male receptionist who I believe is Sam (according to my receipt) told me to wait for the nail technician to finish the other customer. I was fine with waiting, I wasn’t in any rush. I got the impression that he was becoming impatient as the nail technician was still working on the customer and I had been waiting for a while. He told me that he would start working on cleaning my nails and then the nail technician would come and work on my nails soon after. That never happened! During the time he worked on my nails, he worked so roughly; it caused pain at times. He filed my nails swiftly which, caused cuticle damage afterwards. He didn’t clean up the mess from filing my nails and glued a plastic nail tip right away. He didn’t size the tips correctly to my nail size as you can see on the photos. When he mixed the polymer and monomer (acrylic liquid and powder) he was rushing and used too much. The coat is thick. When I was curing my nails, the gel polish was dripping down to my skin. He got so mad at me and started yelling at me, making it seem as if everything was my fault. He said I must have been moving my hands too much. Which, I wasn’t at all! He said he would have to start over; he was so mad and impatient because the place was getting busy at that point. He never fixed my nails; he only tried cleaning the gel polish off my skin. And he didn’t even do that right! He never put nail oil to finish the job. He said I was done and wanted me to pay. I paid for the service and originally gave him no tip for the awful service but he got aggressive and demanded a tip because he said it’s mandatory. He had the audacity to ask for a 15% tip! I gave him $5 only and straight up told him the service was bad and he made too many mistakes. He stayed silent and I walked away. Overall, I do not recommend getting your nails done by the male receptionist (Sam), to be fair, I cant say the same for the other female technicians. He was rude, condescending, demanding and money hungry. He did a rushed and painful job on my nails. He had terrible communication skills and many nail related issues. His work speaks for itself! Many issues could have been prevented had he correctly prepped my nails. Sam, stick to what you’re good at and answer the f***ing phone! So I called over the phone and this guy told me it was $20 for pedicure since today is a special . When I get here he says since I’m not getting manicure it’s $23 . He gets loud with me and starts talking down to me saying I should’ve called in before , when I did. And he even told someone over the phone to another person $20 pedicure.

I walk in to get my nails and pedicure done. The pedicure was nice. I asked for coffin shaped nails the ones on my thumb are different sizes one is thicker. Then for my other nails one is uneven then another one is crooked. The lady that did my nails was paying more attention to the Chinese drama on screen then seeing if the nails were proper. Then when it came to paying they are asking for 15 to 20 percent as if the service was great. The boss lady was trying to get me to tip higher. Then she spoke in chinese to the other nail technicians saying I tip so little and don’t make a big deal out of it. I’m kinda disappointed with the results
