Critical: Professionalism, QualityTERRIBE service, do NOT recommend. I bought a 3-pack Groupon for micro needling and am appalled but how horribly this place is ran. (This happened between July-Oct 2021.)Appt 1: Comment was made about me being a Groupon customer but we’re “usually nice” (I guess we’re not “regular” customers?); immediately felt I wasn’t important and feared for my face but she did a good job. However, she verbally rattled off care instructions before I left and said they didn’t have print outs… I could just google it.Appt 2: Went to the same esthetician and she used a nanoneedle (which is the WRONG NEEDLE) on my face. I kept saying it wasn’t painful at all (didn’t want to outright question her ability, she knows what she’s doing, right?). Halfway through my face she realized she had the wrong needle because whomever restocked the box put the wrong needle in the box. The needle she did use couldn’t have been the right needle either (she said “this one will do” or something like that).When I left I looked like nothing had been done. I let it go giving her the benefit of the doubt…I know, I know, SMH.Appt 3: On 9/29 I booked an appt for 10/7. Got a confirmation text the day before (10/6). Showed up and the found the office was under construction and closed. They said “we tried to call you” which I can’t confirm. I assuming they were calling from out of state numbers, not sure. Regardless, they never left a VM and didn’t send a text. Hilariously, I did finally get a text stating the office was under construction on October 13th…a week after my appt.In conclusion, I let my last Groupon expire because…it’s my face. I didn’t feel confident that I would leave with the service I paid for and feared I may walk out of there with my face looking far worse than when I went in. Regardless of what ‘should have been in the box’ you should ALWAYS checked your tools to ensure you’re using the right one especially when this is considered medical. I’m now questioning whether she knew she had the wrong needle and just didn’t care (she had to have noticed my face was not red or bloody anywhere and seemed to be unfamiliar with her tools) or maybe she didn’t care enough to pay attention.TERRIBE service, do NOT recommend. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI get married in a week and I went in for a signature facial and ran out with my face on fire, hives, and a chemical burn. They do not know what they are putting on your skin and are very unprofessional!! I get there on time and the esthetician has me wait while she takes a personal visit as I’m sitting there and she’s selling cookies.I let her know I have somewhere to be at 2:30 if we will be done in the hour so she then gets the room ready. While my facial is going on I was expecting relaxing & soothing like my prior facials 6+ months ago but since then the whole staff has changed. Instead they have loud reggaeton playing downstairs and laughing I could just hear the phone ringing and no one answering. She didn’t do any extractions I had to ask but no time because whatever spf she claimed she put on me had my face on fire and swollen and when I ask what ingredients or what she put on me she was very clueless and had nothing to soothe my face. This happened Thursday, I call Monday since they didn’t bother to call me to see how I was doing or if they could do anything for me. I ask for a manager to cancel my membership and receive a refund for the amount they have been debiting each month since I will not be using any of their services they said they would call me back. Tuesday comes I call right when they open and said manager isn’t there but will call me back. I called back twice and of course n0 answer then finally Evelyn the manager answers and knows it is me and says I can go back to have the apparent doctor look at me but can’t issue a refund will only credit to use other services. She was very argumentative and did not want to come to resolution since I will never want to use their services and risk having my face burned when I get married in a week.I would not recommend to anyone especially when they are dealing with harmful products that can harm your face etc. They clearly do not know what they are doing and can cause serious damage.I get married in a week and I went in for a signature facial and ran out with my face on fire, hives, and a chemical burn. Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityThis is a great spa,great quality and very professional. Prices are very reasonable and everyone was very friendly and helpful during my visit. I recommend this spa over many others that I have visited in the past. The owner was very welcoming and so was the staff I will continue to visit Royal Med Spa for other Services as well.
