Roxy’s nails is absolutely the worst place, I’ve ever gotten my nails done, in the thirty years, I’ve been getting my nails done. First, the young lady puts TOO much acrylic on my nails, which makes them look like nuggets on my fingers. And they charged me $15.00 to paint my toenails. Most nails shop charge $ 7 to 8 dollars to just paint toenails. I have a feeling they did that on purpose because I was there so long getting my nuggets nails filed down. When I got home, I also had to clean the caked up acrylic and left over paint from underneath my nails.

I’ve been getting my nails done for years and this is the most unprofessional place I’ve been to. I spent 3 hours just for a refill, had gel nails and she still put acrylic over. I got cut numerous of times. Some of my nails are thicker and longer than others. The design is not even. And everything was sticking to my nails. Absolutely not professional. They are so sharp you can cut someone.

These people are ridiculous, they are highly unprofessional and have no idea how to run a business. They’re prices are insane and they are located in a slum shady area of Hartford. They don’t know how to give proper customer service, I don’t know how they’re still open. I will never go there again nor will I recommend this place to anyone. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time going to this joke of a nail shop.
