it was so bad. my niece went to go get a haircut and the lady said it was going to be $30 , when I came back to get her she said the price was $45, ok whatever that’s fine. when it was time to wash her hair, her hair was dead and no longer curly like it used to be not only that, she trimmmed her hair so badly it was chopped. do not recommend at all. they don’t have solid prices and they also don’t know how to treat or trim hair. would give a absolute 0 if I could.

Gf wanted a long style pixie cut, but they refused to cut the hair how she wanted. Shouldn’t have to find some common ground between client and hairstylist to compromise a different haircut. Then proceeded to cut it wrong, and couldn’t grasp concept of layering hair and instead gave very choppy bangs that are basically unfixable. Communication is very hard. They refused to give what client wants. If you’re going for a styled cut, do not go here. If you want layers or short hair, do not go here. A pixie cut is far more different than a bowl styled haircut. Wanted short back and long bangs, got long back and short bangs. This was not worth the 55$ spent and gf went home crying from how much she hates her hair. I am providing images of picture given and what was asked for and what we got- she doesn’t want her face presented to internet, so it’s covered.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE IF YOU ARE BLACK. I have 4b hair type. I am Dominican and speak fluent Spanish. I told them I just needed a hair wash and blowdry (no rollers, no excessive heat) because my friend was going to braid my hair that day and I didn’t have time to wash and dry myself. I told them I didn’t want any chemicals in my hair and that I love my Afro hair. Long story, short. They put KERATIN in the conditioner without my knowledge and consent. My friend told me she noticed a difference in my hair texture when she did my braids. And after two months of having braids in, I took them out and there is no curl pattern. My hair always curls up when I wash and condition it. It’s all frizz and doesn’t curl at all now. Some parts are completely straight and it’s not heat damage because she didn’t use that much heat. This is what happens when they don’t feel like dealing with Afro hair textures. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I’ve gotten my hair done plenty of time in Santo Domingo and they never put any chemicals in my hair. I’ve always had healthy hair and my curl pattern never left. It is pure self-hatred because these are Black Dominican people putting chemicals in your hair because they think its better for you. IT’S A SICKNESS, REALLY. I have to regrow my natural hair now.

Critical: ProfessionalismI took my daughter here and brought my own shampoo and conditioner and asked for a blowout. My daughter has never had a perm and I was not planning on getting her one. The lady that was suppose to do her hair complained about her texture and was telling me her curls were too tight. I sat there for a whole hour listening to this lady complain in her langauge. My gut was telling me to leave but I stayed because my daughter had pictures to take the next day. Another stylist decided to do my daughter hair, it looked good. My daughter washed her hair 2 weeks after and her texture did not come back and her curls are gone. Her hair also smelled of chemicals months after. This happened in September 2021 it is now the end of January 2022 and her hair is falling out, its stringy and her curls have not come back. I want to let yall now if you are black and want to keep your hair natural please, please, please do not go to this salon, Im begging you. Honestly it doesn’t even deserve one star the worst hair salon you could go to the people there are the worst there don’t even know how to cut hair, the workers there are discriminating and racist, price are ridiculous so expensive like they are professional. I was getting my hair done and during the middle of it the person tells me to stand up because another person was coming to get their hair dry, I wouldn’t recommend this salon at all, I have been to other salons and they haven’t even done that

Blow outs for naturals are the best! Wet set and blowouts are great too. I have gotten hair cuts as well and am always pleased with the care that they give my hair. Staff are also warm and friendly. Give them a try.

I am Hispanic so when moving to South Jersey I couldn’t find a salon but then I met Diana as a walk in and have been a loyal customer for 2 years now. She’s amazing. Hair blowout for a trip to Florida lasted me all 5 days I needed it too without problems. Only four stars because I had to do my hair with someone else once and it didn’t go as well.
