Critical: Punctuality, QualityI have had several appointments with Dawn over the last few years and each time she has run 20-30 minutes behind. I have not had my hair colored by anyone else outside of her and haven’t had it done since March of 2020, needless to say I was Very much looking forward to my appointment! This appointment was rescheduled by the salon the day before my appointment time on a Thursday to the following day, Friday at 4:15pm. I arrived at 4:05pm and was told she was running behind, when I finally got in her chair it was 5:15pm. I asked for a balayage with a root melt due to the excessive growth of my roots. She gave me a balayage with a “money piece” in the front of my hair, which is absolutely not what I asked for or wanted. It didn’t lift evenly, is very wide and doesn’t match with the rest of my hair. Dawn used several glazes and purple toning products to get my hair to lift evenly, which from the pictures you can see it clearly did not. I not only paid full price, I wasn’t given a blow dry and loose curl like she always does for me. I left with partially wet, curly hair and it was an hour after their closing time. I could have flipped my own hair upside down and left my hair curly, like I do everyday. That is not what I asked for, especially since I waited a year and a half to have my hair colored. Definitely Not the experience I was expecting.
