Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityStay away from this dump. My wife bought me a massage for my birthday and then we had a $10 off coupon for first time booking. When I arrived the woman demanded money up front, which I thought was weird. When I told her about the coupon, she kept asking “why!?!?” And proceeded to demand $60. She then walked away for a bit, called someone, came back and again demanded $60. I said I don’t understand why this is an issue and she continued to yell at me “why!?!?” So I put my coat back on and walked out. I’ve never had an experience like this in my entire life. Absolutely horrendous.Stay away from this dump. My wife bought me a massage for my birthday and then we had a $10 off coupon for first time booking. Critical: ProfessionalismFirst, the massage itself was fine; no complaints there. The problem, as pointed out by other reviewers here, came afterward. I paid the $60 fee upfront, then on leaving I offered her a $15 tip. I know of no business that wouldn’t see a 25% tip as generous, but she scowled and said “Twenty dollars!”. I was pretty surprised by this, and pointed out that I had just given her a 25% tip. She insisted again on $20, which would be a 33.3% tip! I was very put off by this. She then told me that NEXT time I need to tip her $20. Well, there won’t be a next time.First, the massage itself was fine; no complaints there. Booked an appointment for my wife for her birthday at Sarah’s Magic Spa. She showed up and was told she didn’t have an appointment and was given a “coupon” to another location in Verona (Rosie). She went to that location, was brought into a room, and then they demanded CASH in hand before they would do the massage. What? It’s next to no effort to get set up with PayPal or Square to accept payments, and to turn someone away because they don’t have cash? All that after you bring someone to a room? I’d rate 0 star if I could.

I just had a 60-minute massage with Amy! I have to say, it started out a little unconventional (using a bath towel to cover with instead of a bedsheet). She began by rubbing me down through the towel, but then the magic happened!!! It honestly was the best massage I’ve ever had!!! If you come in with any pain or stress in your body you will be free of that when you leave!! Amy is absolutely wonderful!!! I can’t wait to go back!!! Will be recommending her to all of my friends!!! A bit of a language barrier, but she appreciates a $15 tip. She’s worth that times a million!! Enjoy!!!

I left my 60 min massage feeling very relaxed and relieved of stress in my trouble areas (neck and shoulders)Sarah is very attentive, caring, and listened to my concerns throughout the entire process. I highly recommend her!

I have now experienced and heard from multiple people that they are pre-charging a 35% tip on your service before you even receive said service. In one case the masseuse was 40 minutes late. Unacceptable. Sure, the actual services seem to be good, but the fact of pre-charging tips upfront and at an inflated level is just an owner gouging their clients because they are too cheap to pay their masseuse an acceptable wage.

Communication was extremely hard, there was a language barrier with the masseuse. I asked for focus on my shoulders and feet and she said no. Very disappointed and I don’t feel relief at all.

Masseuse was an older woman in her 50s not the young 20 somethings advertised otherwise the massage was very relaxing

So others know this upfront, this business standardizes their gratuity, so you are expected to tip this much, no matter the service.:
