Critical: Professionalism, QualityWhen we arrived to her house, she had us take off our shoes and leave them at the front door (which was fine with me). It was my mother’s turn and I wanted to sit down in the facial room with her since there was a language barrier (my mom only speaks Spanish) but the esthetician did not want me to until I had to ask her a couple times. She began my moms facial. She steamed her face for about 5 minutes and then proceeded to extract her pores. My mom, who is an elderly woman, found it very painful so I asked the esthetician to skip the extraction step. After that, she applied a cream to my moms face and that was all. The whole entire “facial” took no more than 15 minutes. After everything, she asked me when my mom would want to come back for another appointment and I told her that I would ask my mom later which to that she responded “ask her now.” It was very awkward and inappropriate. As we were getting ready to leave, she wanted us to exit from the basement door all while our shoes were still upstairs at the front door.
