I have been going to Roses Salon for approximately six months now. I usually go for gel manicures and pedicures. MAI LAM , my nail technician is absolutely fabulous. She is kind and takes such great care of me. I really don’t see how I can go anywhere else now that I have her. The facility is so clean, probably the cutest and most clean bathroom set up! I love it here .

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityFound this place by accident as I was on the island for the day and had a sudden urge to pamper myself. I called and asked if they by chance had an immediate opening for a mani/pedi (on a Saturday!) They were full but said they would take care of me. Mai stayed late to do THE most amazing work, with a strong leg and foot massage that made me melt. I hardly ever pay money for a mani/pedi because I can usually do a decent job myself (and I’m cheap.) Despite it being more costly than I would typically pay, it was worth it. Regular polish stayed on for 3 whole wks!!! Mai was sweet, personable, and the whole salon felt like a little family. Went back a month later and they squeezed me in again (on a Fri!) Mai wasn’t available but the other gal was just as good, again with an amazing massage. Polish also stayed better than any other place I’ve been. Very happy customer. Found this place by accident as I was on the island for the day and had a sudden urge to pamper myself. I called and asked if they by chance had an immediate opening for a mani/pedi (on a Saturday!) I visited Roses for the first time a few weeks ago to get an updo for a wedding. I was matched with PATRICIA. I only know her name because of other coworkers- she did not introduce herself or even ask for my name. I was not picky in my request; I only said that I am growing my side bangs out (for my own engagement pictures!) and that I wanted it pulled back since the wedding was on the beach and it would be windy. She at first stated that we would look at pictures to get some ideas…that never happened. I can handle a strong personality but Patricia talked so much to the point of being condescending. She immediately began to curl my hair and when I reminded her that I wanted it up, she nodded and continued to do what she wanted. The worst part was when I mentioned that the way she was pulling my bangs back felt too loose: before I could do anything, she grabbed the SCISSORS and CUT a small portion of MY BANGS!! Her words: “Now if they fall out they won’t be in your eyes!” I now have a piece that is so short, they will not even lay flat when my hair is down, but stick up like Alfalfa. I question her qualifications. As we were checking out, she tried to add a bottle of hair spray to my bill without even asking if I wanted it. (Apparently assuming that her own work would not hold through the evening?) Patricia was rude, unprofessional, and did nothing that I asked. I left extremely disappointed and I would never go back.
