We are a Shoshone Bannock American Indian owned and operated family business. Second generation hairstylists, inspired by a hairstylist mother with over 35 years of working experience. I came here last minute to get my hair braided because the salon I made an appt at fell through (and I had driven all the way from Estacada). Gabby was SO sweet and was able to fit me in for two Dutch braids. Highly recommend this salon!!! It’s also the cutest salon I’ve ever seen. Thanks again!!! Braids

Critical: ProfessionalismA salon may have the right to refuse service to anyone, but if the reason they give for refusing service is nonsensical, then the customer can’t help but wonder the actual reason why service was refused.They (at least at the time of this review) don’t have a phone number, so you either have to contact by email or Instagram. I did my own hair in quarantine like a lot of people, and wanted a slight color correction as my hair color is still brassy after using a toner. I mean all I literally wanted in consulting this salon is an ashy toning. So, I DMed a stylist (Brittany) who answered me YES after seeing my pic, hearing my situation and then what I was seeking with my hair, but she strangely asked if I was licensed with doing hair, and I told her no. I mean, I thought that was obvious, so the question was strange. She ghosted me after I answered her (so unprofessional) and didn’t get back to me. So, I tried another stylist through their Instagram page, with no response. I then messaged the salon Instagram itself (again, no response) and then as a last result, posted on the page itself and FINALLY they got back to me (the owner, I’m assuming) and said NO, they won’t do my hair as they are new with Kevin Murphy color, and told me to go to another salon. This is really confusing because they are a listed Kevin Murphy salon, and I used a toner they hashtag in their posts (ColorMe). They NEVER had a consultation with me and what I want is just a toning, so it is really perplexing. Who knows the real reason they refused my money – or why the stylist ghosted me. The fact remains based upon this experience is that they will turn you away with a reason that makes no sense if they even bother to respond. When I told them this in my reply back, they actually BLOCKED me. I tried to be persistent in getting ahold of someone and ended up feeling that the whole experience was really exclusive, yet I was under the impression stylists color correct all the time. Not once I was rude or impolite. There’s a happy ending, I promise: when I went for a hair cut elsewhere, another stylist offered to color correct my hair when I mentioned my story to her, and she is a brand new stylist! My hair did get that ashy toning and it was a very uncomplicated process! Rosebud Boutique Salon is not professional: ghosting and refusing service AFTER SAYING YES without a consultation, for a reason that makes no sense – and makes you wonder why. They SAY they are new to Kevin Murphy color even though they are a Kevin Murphy listed salon, so if you want Kevin Murphy, just go elsewhere based on what they told me! In fact, maybe they should reconsider having themselves listed as a Kevin Murphy salon if they are “new” to KM and can’t provide a service. Saw Brittany for my very first time, and she gave me the BEST haircut! She styled it amazingly, but even with my lacking hairstyling skills the haircut shined through and still looks good! Highly recommend this salon!
