This is the most affordable hair salon I have found and I will always make the trip to get my hair cut here. Prices went up slightly recently (previously $25 for a regular cut, now $30), but the quality and the service continue to be fantastic. I recommend calling ahead for an appointment since only two hairstylists are available (some days only one).

Both the owners at Rose Salon are two friendly hard working women. The Rose Salon has super fair prices, fantastic customer service, the shop is clean and women are knowledge about hair. I always get exactly what I want everytime. I didn’t even have show her a picture! Told her today wanted a soft rounded bob with a small a line hugging my face. She had me with a washed, blow-out and cut in 35 mins. Simple, felt great, beautiful. My go to place!

Rose does a good job of cutting hair at a reasonable price. However, she lost me as a customer due to the lack of punctuality. Twice I arrived at the salon at 9am on a weekday when it was supposed to open, and both times, the salon was still closed. The first time, Rose was late by about 40 minutes, but there was an extenuating circumstance, so I reasoned it was a fluke. The second time, I only waited 10 minutes before I left because it was cold and I did not have a shelter to wait in. If Rose or her sister cannot arrive by 9am, they should change the salon hours. I feel like she does not value her customers’ time.

Great local salon with a super friendly stylist (I feel bad that I didn’t get her name.) She’s had the salon here 15 years and it sounds like it’s a family affair with her and her sister running the place. I zipped in for a quick cut and she definitely knew what she was about, and took a lot of care. It’s local, great service, and yes, the prices are great!
