I would go somewhere else. I went in a couple of days ago with my friend to get two sets with dip. I had called 2 days prior to make an appointment for 4 pm for the both of us. We get to the salon and we end up getting there kind of early so we wait and pick our colors. Eventually it gets around 20 minutes after our scheduled “appointment” one of the nail ladies says she can only take one person at a time, which I figured since the other ones were busy. I went first and my friend was going to go second. I thought that as soon as another lady freed up she would help my friend, boy was I wrong. My friend ended up waiting around 2 hours to even get started on her set, close to mine being finished. Even while people were walking in with no appointments and getting helped right away. I kept reminding the lady that my friend had to get hers done and she kept saying “ok no worries, yes”. Fast forward to today, one of my nails started to pop off with not even that much pressure. I’m annoyed because not only was the customer service not up to par, I paid well over $70 for my set to start to come off not even a week later! Personally I would not go here, clearly the word “appointment” doesn’t have that much meaning for them since they will decide to ignore someone who has been waiting for 2 hours vs someone who just walked in.

Rose City Nails is consistently the best nail salon in Madison. If you want fast, careful and consistent service this is your place. They’re not only helped my nails become long and strong, but their gel manicures are INSANELY quick which is great if you’re short on time! The staff is professional and kind. This is the only nail salon I visit in Madison!! They’re the best!

If I could give my experience less than one star, I would. I made an appointment to have tips put on. The technician told me UV gel extensions would be so much better. When I went to pay she charged me $100 for my nails (another $35 for my pedicure). There are no prices posted and no menus with services anywhere in the salon. I paid, but told her that was atrocious. Within 3 days, one extension popped off and two others cracked. I have never had such an awful experience ever with a nail salon ever. I am new to NJ and will never book an appointment anywhere ever without getting a firm price for services. Stay away.

Turns out they fired the old staff and brought in new. They knew that when they made my appointment. I do not appreciate being lied to. Bait and switch. Will never set foot in there again.
