Ron Rose is an excellent masseuse. I was going to be staying at a top local hotel in Calistoga, and after checking their prices for massages, I decided to look around. I found Ron on several websites, and he was highly recommended by so many that I decided to book with him. He’s right in town so you can walk from most places and his prices are very reasonable. In many cases, they’re 1/3 the price of most spas, and I checked them all because I like to do my homework. He’s very professional and excellent. I’m sure you’ll be very pleased.

Miscommunication. Strong fragrances triggered my asthma. We were promised a female therapist, but arrived to find only an older man alone in an empty building to provide massages for the two of us. He seemed to have forgotten about bringing in a female therapist — okay. One of us got a massage — she said it was very good. I waited outside, but canceled my own massage because the fragrances inside the studio triggered an asthma attack. The studio is filled with light and beautiful artwork. I took off two stars simply due to the miscommunication about having a female therapist and the strong fragrances. We felt safe because there were two of us — the buddy system — but would not have felt safe as a woman alone with a male solo practitioner in a deserted building. That requires the woman to trust a guy she just met based on a few minutes of chit-chat! A receptionist or another therapist in the next room would easily solve the problem.
