Unfortunately I had a very bad experience at this African Hair Braiding shop. I do not understand why this lady was so rude to me. I was very friendly and polite. I asked her if she could replace a few of my loose braids that were relatively new (1 week old) and she said no in a very rude way and began to tell me that she only fix her own work loudly in front of the whole shop. I could see the dissatisfied look on some of the other clients’ faces. That is ashamed. It is almost as if the lady did not like me on site. I feel sorry for people for harbor such ill feelings towards others that are different from them for no reason…..GOD BLESS HER ANYWAY…

First time here. I wanted to try the knotless braids for the first time. The woman that did my hair (I didn’t get her name) did an excellent job. I didn’t want them to be full. They showed me different braid size samples for me to choose from. In total she did about 23 knotless braids in my hair and only took about 1.5 hours.

Overall, the experience was good. When I walked in the door, I was greeted by Rose. She understood what I wanted and had braid examples to ensure they got the braid size correct. She was able to show me different colors of hair. I got box braids. Just a note for new comers, if getting box braids you have to ask for square parts, if that’s what you want, if not, you’ll get diamond shaped parts. Still looks good. Took about 3 hours with two people working. Any questions I had they readily answered and were kind.

This lady was so rough on my hair. My head was sore after pulling my hair out while braid which it was already cleaned and combed out I have fine thin hair no need to rip the comb thru…. Then i had to walk up n down the street to find a atm cause they have no business service. The women talked in african dialect the whole time completely rude behavior. Staff wasnt friendly i felt awkward the whole time like she was doing me a favor not like I was a customer. I will never return there again

Going to Roses for years! My daughters hair is braided in this picture. Got my hair braided 6/24 and my braids still look great! No braids came out, the ends are still nice, and the quality of hair they used had to be excellent. I think the cost is a little higher, but you get what you pay for; especially if they are providing high quality hair.

First time customer and I was completely satisfied. I received so many compliments on my hair not to mention that the price is right. Received small box braids at a long length and it only took 4 hours. If I was anywhere else it would have taken them 6 plus. You have a returning customer in me.

Ms. Rose is awesome. This was my first experience in her shop. The shop is very clean and professional. Her prices are very resonable. I was a walkin and within an hour of arriving she had me in her chair and out the door 2 hours later. She is fast and when she is done you will not need a bottle of Tylenol. This will be my permanent home to get my hair braided from now on.
