My curl pattern was back to normal. So they don’t put relaxers or perms in their shampoo and conditioner. I’ve went to these lovely ladies several times and tbh my hair was growing. Also a ex coworker from my job, told me about this place because her hair was always gorgeous/straighten and her curl pattern always went back to normal as well. So I most definitely will be back tomorrow to get my hair done. Until my birthday because I’m tired of this natural hair of mine.

Little Dominican Salon, reminiscent of Jersey, with friendly and professional staff. I got a wash, deep condition and blowout with a trim. My hair is naturally curly and thick; but my blowout left it silky and bone straight.

I’ve been natural for 10 years with 4c hair. I only press my hair twice a year. I read the reviews and there was only one bad review so I decided to try this salon since the other dominican salon that I go to was closed. I went in September and the first time, loved my hair. The customer service was great. I decided to try again but this time, I noticed a difference. Some of my ends were straight. The shampoo lady said she would do a roller set and sat me under the dryer instead of detangling and twisting like the first time. I decided not to return and washed my own hair. I smelled a scent that smelled like relaxer while I was was washing at home and guess what…my hair is straight. I’ve always had a fro as soon as my hair gets wet but not this time. I will never return. I think they do a great job but not for 4c hair. I didn’t have a good experience.

Absolutely satisfied with the service and I must admit reading the bad reviews had me questioning my decision to go here but I’m glad I went to see for myself. I LOVEEE MY HAIR!!!! Not to mention they remodeled the shop so it’s very spacious. I was served coffee. The wash was gentle and cleansing I literally almost fell asleep in the chair. I 10 out of 10 recommend you come go there for your hair service. Thank you all.

Pretty unprofessional. I walked in and I was greeted. Ok, great. I told Rosa I want press flat irons only. Ok. So everybody kept asking wash and deep conditioner. I said no just a press with flat iron. Then everybody started to take other people and that was fine but at least say ok, someone will be with you or we can’t so that something. Not just I’m sitting there and no one is saying when they will be with me or if they will be with me. I just got up and left. Now, I see what the other reviews are all about when they mention UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE. I will never step foot back in her salon again.

This hurts me to have to give Rosie’s a bad review but I want to make sure ppl understand some of the disadvantages of getting their blow dried here before it’s too late. I had a great experience at Rosie’s, everyone was professional, the place was clean and I was in and out in no time- HOWEVER- I went there with my hair tangled, understanding, that beautify and have certain products and equipment to rectify this much easier than me doing it myself. They put 0 product on my hair during the detangling process. Mind you, I have 4b-4c hair. They literally ripped through it to get it untangled, there was a glob of hair as thick as my fist when they were done. We went through the process and at the end my hair was BONE straight which isn’t my preference since not working my hair since 2012. It also had a burn smell that lasted for about 3 weeks. Now it’s about 2 months later and I’m seeing breakage from the root of my hair. I went to a hair consultation and they told me hair has been burned off from the other follicles. My hair is extremely thin and damaged and it’s so unfortunate because I was just getting to a good place with my hair’s strength and luster. I learned my lesson by not doing my regular routine silk press and hydration treatment. Im sorry to have to report this because I actually liked it there but wanted to save someone from devastation.

I’ve been to Rosa at least 2-3 times the last time I went I didn’t like the vibe or energy first off my hair is THICK I’m aware I went to the shampoo bowl and I believe it was Rosa who came to start on it she proceeded to comb it out and stopped started speaking to the other lady in her language laughing so It tells me they were talking about me because they switched out as if she had a problem doing my hair then I asked them did they accept Apple Pay she said no okay cool when I was getting ready to pay she begin to speak in her language again to the lady only thing I understood was Apple Pay so I know she once again was being weird talking about me telling her don’t let me pay with it . So no I won’t be returning my hair is also damaged I can show before and after pictures if need be it’s started to get where it Matt’s up in the middle very badly it have a awful smell after I washed it honestly I shouldn’t of never went back the first time so that’s my fault and this is my HONEST OPINION AND STATEMENT !
