First time and last time back. I brought photos of the color and tone I wanted. Left frustrated with barely any color change. Prior to starting, we chatted about what I was going for and what it’d require. I am very unhappy. Also, my hair type is curly and she didn’t use oil or any heat protectant while blow drying, so I left the salon with my hair up nexus of the frizz and fly aways.

The receptionist is very rude and unhelpful. I asked a simple question about a cut and color and if I can drop by for a consultation and she very rudely replied that “you can’t just drop in for a consultation whenever you want”. And went on to explain how their time is so valuable. I understand that, but there would have been a nicer way to say it if they want my business. Thats not the right way to treat a new customer. 0 stars.

I booked a loose low side bun updo with corri for a wedding. She pinned my hair tightly to the back of my head. I made several attempts to correct her towards my desired hairstyle but she was unreceptive. I left there and went to another salon to get it fixed before the wedding

Miles Higgins is AMAZING! My son’s wedding was taking place in Broomfield / Boulder, but my regular stylist had unexpectedly left, so I was left looking “woolly” and stylist-less at the last minute Miles got me in at the eleventh hour and – wow! – what a happy day for me all around! My hair looked perfect for the wedding and is growing out in a way I totally love love love! To say nothing of the PERFECT color! My hair hasn’t looked this cute for ages! Miles is a master stylist and I feel so fortunate to have gotten in with him. I’m now considering driving up to Broomfield from Santa Fe from this point forward just to have him do my hair — I feel like no one in SF has his skill. Thank you again, Miles!!

On my first attempt to have my hair cut by a Root’s stylist, my appointment was canceled as I stood in the reception area without any prior notification. The staff was unprofessional and unapologetic about the situation. I won’t schedule any service with them again.
