Critical: ProfessionalismI followed the owner of this salon from karma because I thought she did great work. While her work is good, her professionalism is not. I had to cancel an appointment 23 hours before the appointment time because I had an accident that sent me to the ER and left me flat on my back. Instead of being understanding, they stated that they would charge me a $75 deposit before I could reschedule. My husband then posted a review regarding this incident on google because of the callused attitude of the owner. The owner was not accurate in her response to this critical review. I expect a level of professional decorum and honesty from a small town business, which was certainly not found here. I followed the owner of this salon from karma because I thought she did great work. While her work is good, her professionalism is not. I had to cancel an appointment 23 hours before the appointment time because I had an accident that sent me to the ER and left me flat on my back. After the first round of color was great but wasn’t what I anticipated, she was able to work with me and get the exact results that I was looking for! My wife really likes the work done at Roots. However, my wife missed an appointment after having an ER visit and being bedridden. The salon refused to re-book an appointment without a down payment because of canceling an appointment with 24 hours due to these extenuating circumstances. This is poor customer service, and Roots just lost a customer who would have been loyal for years to come.
