She is the first stylist that has ever sat down with me, and had a full consultation about what I want done with my hair. She listens, and helps the client to understand what is feasible! If the change you need will take more than one appointment, she is honest with you, and is totally upfront about what to expect. I absolutely love Roots. Emily is wonderful! She is the first stylist that has ever sat down with me, and had a full consultation about what I want done with my hair. She listens, and helps the client to understand what is feasible! If the change you need will take more than one appointment, she is honest with you, and is totally upfront about what to expect. Roots is honestly my favorite place to be in cookeville. Every time I come in I am always asked if I’d like a drink and offered a place to sit while I wait. Everyone there is so kind and fun to talk to! I get my haircut with Stevie and she is so obviously amazing at what she does. I moved to cookeville from a big city and was worried about the quality of salons as I am very picky about my hair. I happened to randomly get Maddie as a color correction and have not gone anywhere else since! Roots is the best salon in middle Tennessee and Maddie is the best stylist. She always gets exactly what I want and offers suggestions of how it could be better than the photos I show her! I get my hair done by Maddie and I cannot express what an amazing job she does every single time. I moved to cookeville from a big city and was worried about the quality of salons as I am very picky about my hair.
