Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI had a black tie event yesterday night and I made a last minute appt with Roots last weekend. Thankfully, they made time for me and I snagged a 3PM with Silvia (sp?), the owner. She greeted me warmly, the space was immaculate and inviting, and I felt comfortable immediately.I came in not knowing what I wanted – only pics of my dress and knowing I wanted full hair/makeup. Silvia was patient, kind, and hilarious the whole time. The makeup products she used are top of the line, she sterilized everything, and made me laugh.She worked on my hair, along with Rina, and it felt like I had started my party early! Silvia did full glam on the face, which I didn’t think I’d like but I LOVED and got so many compliments on my whole look.Don’t skimp out on hair/makeup – it’ll make you feel like a million bucks and the pictures of the memory are worth it for sure. I think I paid ~250 (for hair, makeup, 100% attention from 2 stylists, some instant tanner for my pale skin) which is comparable to others in the area in price but Roots is the spot, let me tell you. Quality impeccable – I’m writing this review almost 24 hours after makeup application and it’s still amazing (see pic!). I woke up at 6am, drove 45 minutes to get my hair done specifically with Selvije. I ended up getting something else then what I asked for so I had to redo my hair once I got home. Very disappointed
