Critical: ProfessionalismCome here if you want to hurt some guys feelings, after you have made an complaint about something he has done from before. Was told to switch barbers because I made him uncomfortable, after I criticized him for a bit for cutting my own hair. Gets mad about minor areas missed which is my own money! Not coming back, if I’m expected to not talk to my own barber about my own cut or in general because he seemed bothered; sad, poor excuse and service for something to weep about! Come here if you want to hurt some guys feelings, after you have made an complaint about something he has done from before. Was told to switch barbers because I made him uncomfortable, after I criticized him for a bit for cutting my own hair. Gets mad about minor areas missed which is my own money! So make up pictures are tomorrow for school and my son decides tonight that he needs his hair cut. He has been going to the same barber at an alternate salon for years before today. Don Vito squeezed him into his schedule this afternoon as a walk in. My son who was originally so against seeing a new barber even telling me on the way in he changed his mind and didn’t want his haircut, says “Can this be my guy from now on!”. He says this is a whole new look and he loves it. Thank you for getting us in!

Walked in today (Sunday), was seated right away with barber Jordan. This guy knows hair. Skin fade is flawless (literally, no lines or rookie mistakes) and my hair on top was scissor cut and styled to perfection. Their products are well thought out, which is extremely helpful because I’ve been having trouble finding the right product for years. Overall a 5 Star+ experience. I will recommend this place to anyone who actually cares about their hair. The shop is clean and inviting, staff is friendly and carefully selected, and Jordan in particular is very passionate about his work. Unmatched service in the capital region ..speaking from experience(s).

Wade has cut my hair for the last four years. He’s hands down the best barber I’ve ever had, and I’ve lived in seven states and Boston, Philly, and Cincinnati, so I’ve got plenty to compare. Whenever someone asks me where they should go for a great haircut, there is no question… Wade. It’s great to see that he’s got his own shop now.

Jordan has cut my sons hair twice now and both times he has walked away with an exceptional cut! The first time my son walked in with a picture and showed Jordan what he wanted and Jordan explained that his hair wasn’t quite long enough to get that exact look but he could come close. When he was done cutting his hair it really did look close to what he wanted. We would highly recommend Roots Barber Co.

After trying several other barbershops in the area, happy to have found Roots for my grandson. Adriel is great and takes his time (3O minutes) to make sure the cut is perfect.. Another bonus is you can book your appointment through Booksy. Upbeat atmosphere and competitive pricing. Will definitely return.

My grandson has Asperger’s and they took their time with him, where other barbers rush through just to get him done. Andre took his time talked to him and kept him calm. His hair was cut they way he wanted and didn’t realize that he was over half an hour in the chair. He wants to come back even though we come about 45 miles it was well worth the trip. They are open Saturday and Sunday so we can make a day of it and do something fun afterwards. Thanks Andre.
