Had a great experience with Mateo! I reached out because I couldn’t get in for over a month at another local salon. I was able to get in within a few weeks. My hair looks and feels great and I will be back in the future.

I reached out to book with Kara, I was informed that she was on vacation. Kara said she would get back to me on the following Monday. I messaged her on Monday and she asked “what do you want to do with your hair?!?” I explained and she texted back saying that she couldn’t get me in her schedule… I wish I had been told this when I had originally contacted her that she isn’t taking clients. She also didn’t bother to recommend anyone else at the salon who I could see. I’m in a business that if a client comes to me and I cannot see them, I send them to another local who I trust. I do not want to go to a salon that cannot inform inquiring customers about availability, and whom do not work to support other stylists in the salon, by referring that person to a stylist who is a good fit for that customer. I hope that other customers have a better experience working with the other stylists.

I have been seeing Mateo for now almost ten years. I leave every time and my is hair happy, beautiful and healthy. Over the years I have found that they take pride in what they do, never stop learning and have clients that cherish their work. If you want to find a stylist that is knowledgeable about hair, easy to talk to, has great music playing in the studio and makes the time fly by look no further! As long as Mateo is doing hair he’ll be my stylist.

Lucia has done my hair for over 10 years and I have never once been anything less than satisfied. Whether I see her every 6 weeks or once a year my hair always looks great! Mateo is funny and charming and although I’ve never had my hair done by him personally I’ve seen his impressive work and satisfied clients. Rogue Salon has easy street parking right across from the rocket bakery downtown (get there early and get yourself a treat!) and a warm welcoming environment! There is too much to love about this salon and this couple. You won’t regret going rogue.

Love the salon and owner Mateo!! I’ve gotten my hair cut from him for a while now because he is so great!! I have curly hair so most stylists have troubles getting my hair cut to the length I like it at, but Mateo always gets it right where I like it! I don’t think I would want to get my hair done at any other place!
