I used to go to those chain hair salons where you never know who you are going to get, what their experience is or how your hair is going to look despite what you show or tell the person. I decided to try a small independent salon so I went to Rt. 1 Hair Salon. From the very first time I went there, I met the girls and they were all so nice and personable. Mallory ended up cutting and styling my hair. I told her what I wanted and we discussed how it would come out because my hair is curly when when cut short. I took her advice and I loved what she did! I have gone there ever since!! I highly recommend Rt. 1 Hair Salon. You won’t be disappointed! The salon itself is smaller than those big chain salons. Its cozy and the girls take the time to get to know their clients. They offer you coffee or water. I personally love this type of atmosphere where I am treated as a person and not just another $$. Plus the prices cannot be beat. Its one price and includes wash, cut, style. Not a desperate price for each service!! Again.. .YOU WILL LOVE RT. 1 HAIR SALON!❤❤

The stylist I saw on September 6th at 4 pm (I’m sorry, I forgot her name but I think It was Mallory??) was completely AWESOME! I told her exactly what I wanted and she REALLY LISTENED!! Not only did she cut my hair the way I asked, she also gave me suggestions on how to get the most out of my curls for my daughter’s wedding the next day. 1 month later and I’m still happy with my hair. It’s too bad the salon is 2.5 hours from my house because I would definitely make them my ONLY salons. I highly recommend this salon.

I love this hair salon. It is small with maybe 6 or 8 chairs but the staff is incredible. My personal stylist is absolutely amazing. I would not go anywhere else now that I have found her. It is very clean and organized. My one complaint would be that the parking lot is extremely small.
