Critical: Quality, ValueI went in for a haircut, once the service was complete, my hair had been curled at the tips and I thought it looked great. 2 days later, I straightened my hair and only then did I realize how uneven the cut had been done. I went in for a haircut, once the service was complete, my hair had been curled at the tips and I thought it looked great. 2 days later, I straightened my hair and only then did I realize how uneven the cut had been done. My hair is now botched and in order to fix it I will have to cut it at its shortest length. Was charged $180 for the haircut, toning services, and deep conditioning treatment. Critical: ProfessionalismI booked online so I could get my hair done after work. The lady at the front desk didn’t even check the online web and the other stylist was so unprofessional. Then gave me random times to come back like people don’t work. This is why African shops have a bad reputation when looking for hair salons. I am not giving y’all my business. I booked online so I could get my hair done after work. The lady at the front desk didn’t even check the online web and the other stylist was so unprofessional. Then gave me random times to come back like people don’t work. This is why African shops have a bad reputation when looking for hair salons. I am not giving y’all my business. Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI have been there twice to get 4 corn rows. The first visit wasn’t bad. However my appointment was at 10 am I was called for service at 9:55 am. Everyone that I came in contact with was very pleasant. The young lady who service me didn’t understand English so another braider was doing the translation. During the phone conversation The woman over the phone said the 4 corn rows would be $50.00. I thought most places charged $10.per corn row. Well I didn’t have a problem with that. After the service I paid the 50.00 plus gave the braider a $10 tip. The braids were nice and they lasted for 2 weeks. The next visit I made an appointment, I didn’t ask the lady for the price because I was there 2 weeks ago so I’m assuming I will be charged 50.00. The lady set my appointment for noon on the following day. Unfortunately, I didn’t get in the chair til almost 1pm, also there was no communication letting me know what was going on with the braider. for instance if the braider is running late or if she is still with a client. After the braider braided my hair we both walked to the register, there she hit me with a service charge of 65.00 dollars for 4 corn rows. I explained to Chantel I was here two weeks ago I was charged 50.00 so I don’t understand how it went from 50.00 to 65.00 in just 2 weeks. I politely gave her 60.00, 50.00 for the service and a $ 10.00 tip then I walked out of the door.I have no intentions on returning. That’s highway robbery. Yes I still gave Chantel a tip unfortunately she will not get it again from me because she lost a customer. I have been there twice to get 4 corn rows. The first visit wasn’t bad. However my appointment was at 10 am I was called for service at 9:55 am. Everyone that I came in contact with was very pleasant. The young lady who service me didn’t understand English so another braider was doing the translation. I will never go back here again. First the lady didn’t seem to know what was going on and agreed that she could do every hairstyle, when she didn’t even understand what I was saying. Next, the lady who sewed my hair in had her mask off the whole time speaking loud in French in my ear. Also, the lady who styled my hair burnt me several times.
