Critical: ValueI came to this salon once and never again. They are severely overpriced- they charged me $56 for the shortest Nails I have ever gotten and wanted to call them long??!! Where?? The manager came and lowered it to 46 but still way over market value for what I received. I got acrylic and clear gel Polish. The base charge for acrylic is 36??? I came to this salon once and never again. They are severely overpriced- they charged me $56 for the shortest Nails I have ever gotten and wanted to call them long??!! Where?? The manager came and lowered it to 46 but still way over market value for what I received. I got acrylic and clear gel Polish. The base charge for acrylic is 36??? Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueUpdate: I am extremely disappointed with my service today. My sister and I came in for gel manicures and gel pedicures. My tech was Vincent and my sister’s tech was Chistine. Christine thank you for my sister’s service. She was beyond satisfied. I on the other hand was extremely disappointed with Vincent’s service. I thought my feet were great till I felt them. After soaking my nails in acetone to remove the gel polish, which I prefer they be wrapped in cotton and foil (which I asked for), he proceeds to cut my nails and cuticles, file my nails and apply a base coat at the pedicure chair. I asked why he was trying to continue to cut my cuticles as he had not given me a manicure and he tells me about charging for a color change and applying some oil on my cuticles. I then asked, if there was no time to do a manicure correctly, we should have been told upon entering there was no time and we could have come another day. I suppose he was disgusted, he cleans up and leaves, telling me someone else will do my manicure. After a little while of sitting at the pedicure station, I ask Tommy who will be completing my nails. He said he would after ringing up another customer. He does do my nails, as he suggest dip over gel. With the attempt to fix the mess Vincent did, I appreciate the effort. Although, the damage was already done, my nails were cut too short by Vincent and I preferred to have gel and a design which I could not get with a dip. I pay for our services and we leave. I get to my vehicle and I look at my hands in comparison to my feet, the colors are no where near the same. I then view the receipt and my gel polish price for pedicure is $15.00 and my sister’s is $12.00. I also notice a $3.00 gel polish take off (I suppose to cover the cost of what Vincent started) but all he did was apply a base coat before I asked about not receiving a proper manicure. Tommy also spoke of a discount for the inconvenience, but their was no discount as I paid $199.00 for our service. I also would like to add, you all need to be careful about what you say in your native language, I for one come from a blended, multi-culture family and don’t appreciate being disrespected and talked about because I spoke about your poor service.I never left a review for a nail salon but the service I received was so outstanding, I couldn’t help but to leave one. From the phone call I made to check on availability for a pedicure and manicure to walking in, the service I received was wonderful. The serene atmosphere, the cleanliness, the pleasant attitudes of the staff, I will be coming back and may try additional services.
