Today was my first visit for haircut in 10 years. Jiy was excellent. Super quick and the best cut in years! Highly recommend. I saw all of the bad reviews before my visit – I asked the staff and they said that the former beautician left (she was excused after requesting inflated tips). Ignore the past reviews – this was a great visit!

Got my arms waxed and asked for blow dry. Shammila said $55 and then changed to $50, I decided to walk out but another lady said $40. So I agreed and sat down for the blow dry. The stylist (Shammila) was so rude( it’s not my first time here, always makes rude comments and sarcastic comments about customers in their native language (Gujarathi or Hindi) )NEVER COMING HERE.

My boyfriend and I got our eyebrows threaded and our total was $10. I paid the $10 by card but once I gave the woman (unfortunately never got her name) a cash tip of $7, she said “You only gave me $7?” and I was a little confused because I thought there was some sort of miscommunication and maybe she thought I was paying our total of $10 with cash. However I was mistaken as she had already charged my card so she was indeed complaining about her tip. I made a confused face as she turned to her associate and started speaking about us in their language, and then turned to me and said “It’s fine just go.”

I completely agree with a recent review about the lady questioning the tip and trying to confuse you that you didn’t pay in full to scam you to give her more tip money. This is the major reason why I am no longer a client after 2+ years of going here. First I needed to feel stupid, question myself if I was being scammed, and then be annoyed that I even experienced that each time I went lol. They also eventually screwed up my eyebrow shape over time and I finally took a leap of faith to try iBrows studio a few blocks away. Although they are more expensive, they have much better customer service, appearance, and quality care. I hate that I had to leave this review but it was warranted. I would not recommend.
