I came into ROIL with hair that was super grown out/dull and in need of a cut/blowout. I also came in with no ideas in mind of what I wanted to do with my hair! All I knew was that I needed a makeover/glow-up. Carlos cut my hair in the most perfect way; I told him all of my hair concerns (grown-out layers, in need of some weight removal) and I walked out of the salon feeling like a million bucks!! This is by far one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with. I received abysmal customer service from their employee and when I reached out on social media to try to get assistance in the matter, I was blocked from their social media. Mind you I said nothing rude or inflammatory in my comment but merely asked for assistance. I then reached out to the owner because I thought surely she of all people would care about her business’ reputation and how customers are treated and she also blocked me with no response. I highly recommend staying as far away as possible unless you enjoy paying a premium price to be treated terribly.

Going to ROIL was the best decision I’ve made for my hair since I started coloring it! I had gotten my color severely messed up from another salon and was dealing with a really gross grow out situation, and they were nothing but helpful and honestly made me happy to see my reflection again. They were even able to get me in super last minute — shout out to the beautiful girl working the front desk by the way — and my colorist Brittany saved my life with the job she did on my hair. She talked to me about different color options and even sat with me and showed me different shades, asking if any of them stuck out to me before we even thought of going in. The staff was super polite and attentive, and the atmosphere was nothing short of warm and welcoming. 10/10, I’ve been telling everyone I know about them!

I got my hair done by Andrew for full highlights, and I am forever only going to go to him now for my hair. He is so welcoming and fantastic to be around, as well as knew exactly how to fix my yellow and unevenly lightened parts of hair- that I had foolishly bleached by myself during the pandemic. Andrew is so talented and really understood what I wanted for my hair. I felt very relaxed and really enjoyed that they keep all of the windows open for a fresh breeze and open-air environment. Seriously a gem of a place.
