I just had my first appointment with Rod… All I can say is WOW! Not only did he rock out my hair. I felt so welcomed and cared for the entire time! I never had so much fun having my hair done in all my life! I guess that is why he is a celebrity stylist!

I had an appointment today at Rodelle’s with Rod himself. He didn’t make it. I was looking forward to my appointment today. Last night I worked until 10pm so I could clear my schedule in order to have two free hours for my appointment. I arrived at my appointment time 5 minutes early, prepared with my ideas and I even brought along my hair color. I sat waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time. It was only when I asked the receptionist when Rod might be seeing me that someone came out to talk to me. This “assistant” let me know that Rod was running very behind, I was told to sit down, relax and make myself at home. I didn’t want to move in, I just wanted a hair cut at the time I was booked. I was a potential new client. I was at least a $300 appointment with tip. I found it interesting that knowing all this I wasn’t worth Rod coming and telling me personally. He was too busy chatting, LOUDLY. I was asked if I’d like to reschedule. I choose not to do business with people who can’t honor their appointment times or try to make it right when things go south. As business owners we expend a lot of energy to get a new client in the door. Treating them with respect and like they are important doesn’t cost anything, but has huge benefits.
