My nephew has been getting his hair cut there for nine years. He has come a long way, from screaming and crying to just fussing a bit. He won’t let anyone but Lauren cut his hair. She is kind, patient and really works quickly all while reassuring her client during the cut. I highly praise her for her special talents and am thankful we found her. Aunt Linda

I can’t comment on how they cut hair because we didn’t even get that far. I had made an appointment for my son at 1130. I told the person that this would be cutting it close for my son’s nap time but took the appointment because we wanted his hair cut before an event. We drove half an hour there and got there at 11:29 and they had just wet a girl’s hair in the chair. I said I had an appointment and she asked what time like she was oblivious we were coming in. I asked if there was anyone else that was coming in to cut his hair and she said no that we would have to wait until she was done with that client. She said she didn’t have enough time to cut her and her brother’s hair and obviously didn’t care that we had a scheduled appointment. I’m not sure why they even bother taking appointments if they don’t honor them. We ended up leaving because I chose to not get his haircut over him not napping and being miserable. In the end we wasted an hour in the car to not even get a haircut.

The stylists at Rick Paper Scizzors are patient, engaging, reasonably priced and quick! All important things a parent of a toddler needs in a hair cut. The salon is setup exactly as it needs to for young kids to feel comfortable and have fun while getting a cut. They make my son’s hair look adorable – better than anything I could do myself and better than other experiences at mainstream salons.

My 13 month old just got his first haircut here, cut by Lisa. I was very impressed. My son was not happy to have his hair cut (to say the least) and Lisa was very patient with him. The cut was needed and looks great on him. I REALLY appreciated her kindness and patience through out the process.

This place is amazing!!! We have been here twice so far to have my 17 month old’s hair cut. He is terrified and screams/cries, moves around the entire time. The stylist is so incredibly patient, kind, FAST and gives him a perfect haircut. I seriously have no idea how she does it! We will be coming here time and time again!

Great customer service as soon as you open the door! I thought I was going to have to hold down my one year old, but they put him in the car put on some music videos for him and that did the trick. He got a great hair cut and sat all by himself like a big boy!

One of the ladies there has been cutting my hair since i was 3 and im 25 now! Great atmosphere, the ladies are great at their jobs. Definitely the place to take your kids you get a haircut. They do adults too!

The best haircuts for kids. Our boys love it here. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Dana is so patient with kids. Can’t say enough nice things about them. Won’t take my kids anywhere else.
