Rock Paper Salon is a couple blocks from where I live and they had great reviews online so I took a leap of faith and boy did it pay off! Pablo gave me exactly what I asked for based off of some reference photos; he was so easy to talk to and listened to what I wanted, and gave me some great referrals for curly hair products. He is a sweetheart. 0 regrets.

I had my hair transformed by Kim. She took my heavy lifeless hair from boring to gorgeous with a smoky pink ombré and cut it to give it fullness and movement! It’s so soft, still so shiny and absolutely my favorite hair I have ever had! Plus the staff was kind and so informative, they love the work they do and it shows. i got my hair cut here a year ago by jenn and, due to covid and other circumstances, haven’t had a hair cut since (i also no longer live in LA). however, this haircut not only looked good at the time but has also grown out SO WELL. obviously i didn’t at the time ask for a pandemic-proof haircut, but pandemic-proof it has been. also, jenn was nice and the salon was super chill.
